No. I've taken brakes and it does nothing. In fact, when I take breaks my creative writing skills take a jump, which I use to write my novel.

My understanding was that, since an addiction to WoW does not involve chemicals like alcoholism does, you wouldn't get withdrawls by going without WoW for a long time. I don't exactly know much about biology, so... Are there any experts on <Randomness> that know the answer?

I don't generally seem to feel much withdrawal physically or emotionally. Like Funden said, usually my creative writing kicks in.

Usually it's used to write out boss fights and whatnot, quite fun. =D

A withdrawl symptom does not necessarily have to be physical in nature. Of course, an emotional/psychological reaction may result in taking physical action.

When the burning crusade was at its height my old pc died on me, and I couldn't play wow for about 4-5 months. It was annoying, and I missed playing it, but I just focused on saving up to buy a new computer.

As of now though, I'm not sure. I'm an officer in my guild, and I play with two people I've made best friends with, who I can't wait to see each day. I think that would effect me greatly if I couldn't play now.
