Warrior - The dilemma

Right well, I'll start with describing my situation.
I currently have a
Level 80
Prot talented Paladin. I love tanking to bits, its my favourite role to play. No wait times for HC's, always a challenge and everyone needs you. Mind, recently I've grown very board of tanking with my Paladin due to boring rotatons and lack of any really 'fun' abilities. Now the thing is, I've heard from a lot of people that Warrior tanking is both difficult and fun, becuase they have many different abilities for all the different situations that might arise.
Now, I've begun to level a
Warrior
who is still in the low levels and I want to kit her out completely with every BoA possible.
So far I have:
Polished Spaulders of Valor
Bloodied Arcanite Reaper
Polished Breastplate of Valor
Swift Hand of Justice
My origional plan was to get to level 40, buy
Duel Specialization
and do random dungeons in Protection gear/spec.
The main things I would like to know are:
-Is it really worth getting two
Swift Hand of Justice
?
-Should I be leveling up using only protection to acquire the skills necessary to be a good tank at higher levels? (or will starting at 40 be sufficient)
-When I do get a tanking spec should I make any gear changes and should I buy
Battleworn Thrash Blade
or
Venerable Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge
?
I know there is a lot to look at here, so thanks for reading over it all. You don't have to answer in any detail, just give me your opinion.
P.S. I did this in the PvE section rather then the Warrior section because it isn't really something that only warrior classes can answer.

Buying 2 Swift Hands of Justice will only help when you solo. It's not a bad idea, but it's not focused on tanking, and you will probably swap them to more tanking trinkets once in instances when you acquire some.
I like Dal'Rend's Charge more, but even better would be
the heirloom mace
. It has stamina and agility, the sword only has stamina.
As for leveling I don't know, it's been years since I went past level 60 and much changed since then, I would say level to 40 as a dps spec then switch, but it seems being prot right from the start is just as viable as being dps.

Ditch the axe, ditch your dps spec, and go prot from the very beginning. You will level way faster as a tank. With heirlooms, Prot damage is pretty good. Use the heirloom mace Shiver suggests.
I have a level 50 warrior. Her total time played is 2 days and 1 hour. Two. Days. Thanks to being a tank, and getting invites in 2 seconds. When i took a flight into stranglethorn vale to complete some quests, i did instances mid-flight. The quests went grey before i landed. She was prot since lvl 10.
And yeah, warriors sure have more buttons that are relevant to tanking. I am at level 50 and i already have more than all my other tanks together...
The only negative thing in warrior tanking is Rage. Rage comes in SLOW. And by slow i mean F*****G slow. You will be glad to get enough rage for thunderclaps in 6 second intervals. Heroic Strike is a luxury. But you still do more damage than anyone else in the group :D

Unless you intend to level via instances, of course.
Of course.
(total 5-men instances entered: 94. lol)
Shield slam costs too much rage to be really useful at lvl 40. Things that are not in an instance usually die after TC->Revenge->HeroicStrike (glyph of revenge)
I absolutely did not notice any damage reduction to Concussive Blow at such low level.

Thank you all very much for your input, but no - I don't plan on levelling solely on Instances.
I never even considered the
Venerable Mass of McGowan
but on seeing the sizeable stamina increase, extra agility and a nice attack power buff at only a slight loss of a bit of crit (which the agility will most likely make up for some of) over the
Venerable Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge
I'll most likely be getting it! :D

Sigh. Seriously, i dont know why would prot leveling be slow pre-40. One of the reasons why i leveled in instances mostly was that once i got used to killing elites in instances, normal monsters felt extremely underwhelming. I did majority of the Stranglethorn Vale quests with my war, and even the group quests were no challenge at all. Seriously, a single elite with some non elite guys with the power level of a scarlet monastery trash? When i can solo three trash elites in scarlet monastery with no heals at all with ease?
Prot is so powerful that instances are the only truly satisfying way of leveling. And it just happens to be the fastest one too.

Swift Hand of Justice
isn't worth the 50 emblems, in my opinion. You're better off getting the
mace
and get to leveling! I would also like to add that the agility on that mace will give you avoidance, mitigation, and threat all in one. Save the emblems for purchasing epic gems to fund your warrior's epic flight and
tome
=)
If you have emblems to spare and you're just baller like dat, by all means, it's your toon.. go for it! I really enjoyed leveling my warrior as prot. I leveled him as fury up until 63ish. After I switched the prot, I never looked back until 80. You get amazing single target damage as well as very strong survivability. You can solo a lot of group quests AND get into randoms pretty quickly if you don't mind tanking. Enjoy!
Prot levelling is incredibly slow until lvl 40 when they grab shield slam. Especially since they nerfed the damage from Concussive Blow. Levelling as prot means you only have heroic strike, cleave and thunderclap to kill things with. Might as well level arms until that point. I don't see the appeal in levelling prot before that.
Unless you intend to level via instances, of course.
I agree with the above. Wait on switching to Prot until you have access to Shield Slam at 40.
