(Apologizes for lateness. Here it is!
Chapter One)
Fred looked around. His new supervisor, Sir Rickmaw, was making his life hell. Same for everyone else, so he could say he was just strict…
He had him on guard duty here. While it was a schedule with everyone else, Fred had learned to just be at the post or expect a exorcism from the bugger. He turned to see his friend, Jeremy, close behind him. Being in the wetlands, and it was very cold.
“For jaysus! Its so cole’ down here.” He said, for he was an older man.
“Indeed, old friend. I wish Rickmaw would put oil on himself and be less stiff.”
“Heh. The bugger nee- AARGH!” A large demon creature cut him off. Its hands were ablaze with Fel Flames.
“Jeremy! FOR STORMWIND!” I swung at the vile thing with my new battle-club,
Torment knocking it back and pausing it in a cast. Jeremy ended the battle by letting a Frostfire bolt off the hook.
“Thank the arcane. That..that…THING…. is a mere cast out. The Blood Elf’s forces on Azeroth should be given top priority.” By ‘Blood Elf’ I assumed he meant Sorak, Illidan the Betrayer new Blood Elven replacement.
“Now now. We must hunker down and eat some rations. I agree the Elf’s forces SHOULD be destroyed, but these forsaken are a more prominent threat” Just then, a portal appeared, accompanied by a shout of ‘GET YOUR BLOODY ASSES BACK HERE WE’RE UNDER ATTACK!’.
“Crap, in we go” He jumped through.
“I’m too old for this….” Jeremy jumped through.
---
A scene of war surrounded us. Scourge broke through the walls, the thin camp buildings being destroyed in the process. A ghoul swung his naked hands at me, but I managed to raise my shield and shatter his digits. A further swing from my club brought him down. I took a step back and looked up. A bellowing call was being screamed from the top of the mountains. A death knight, high elven, armour laden with skulls and glowing blue shards. His face was weather-beaten, with a long scar down the side of his cheek. A personal ghoul was wearing simple black mail, with a small dagger in his hand. The Death Knight's voice was ancient, like a stone being dragged along a wall, slowly.
"
You will end this crusade. I will let one of you escape my wrath... the Lich King commands it, remember this, though, you are foolish. The 'Forsaken' are members of the Supreme army. I, Tekfien Fallwound, will end their weak crusade to end us! The Banshee Queen will return to the Citadel and fall by MY blade! And, the one I choose to live, I shall hunt you. " His voice was obviously magically enhanced, because it actually hurt my head. And with the end of his speech he jumped down. Sir Rickmaw jumped forward, swinging his blade, shouting curses. Tekfien laughed. Sir Rickmaw was no more.
--
Me and Jeremy held out for a while. A WHILE. The ghouls never stopped, and we obliged by killing them, until another yell stopped them.
"Ha! Stop, let us see... the only survivors. Darkclaw, servant of Tekfien, let us see which one of these will survive your attack!" The Ghoul standing next to Tekfien jumped forward, branishing his dagger, he threw it to me. It flew through the air so fast it embedded in my stomach.
"Gah... uhh... for ... uhh...." I staggered backwards, before falling straight on my arse. Death was strange.I was hazing out, before coming in again. I wasn't in my own body, in some kind of limbo. I knew the only thing keeping my on Azeroth was the Death Knight's presence.
---
"Hail, Frederick Quarrel, Death Trainee of Death Knight Tekfien, as you rise from death itself, as my unwavering servant." I had full control my body, but I was wearing dark armour and a simple hood. I carried no weapons.
'Jeremy...Jeremy! Where did...YOU!" I shouted as I caught sight of Tekfien. "Is he alive or dead?"
"I said I would keep one alive, no?""T-thank you...."
((Thanks :) Decided to postpone attack on Undercity for now :) Keep up the comments! ))
