The offspec in my Armory link (see sig.) is my PvP Spec currently, and it works well enough, so long as I don't get jumped by more than 2 people, and one on one it can work VERY well. Alright so tips, tricks and hints:
- Dual Wield: Slow / Slow, WF / FB. 2H is just two unpredictable and frankly, no good against anyone with any type of resilience.
- If it is off cooldown, make sure you have you drop your Stoneclaw for the Damage Shield from the glyph. Do not go into PvP without that glyph, you will hate yourself.
- Against casters, you want to get up close, keep the pressure, and keep them silenced. Against other melee you generally want to kite and keep on the move. Instant Ghost Wolf is your best friend here, with Earthbind a close second.
-Maelstrom used for Instant Hex or Instant Healing Wave is just as useful as Instant CL or Instant LB. Don't forget it.
- You will never be more powerful on the field than when you have your Spirit Wolves up. Don't hesitate to press the advantage.
- Until you hit about 900 resilience or so (at least that was the magic number for me) you are going to feel PUNISHED. Other classes will tear you up sometimes. Just gotta power through and understand that it WILL get better. Trust me.
- For arenas you will want to gem for some spell pen. I have a bit much right now, but you're going to have to beat about 75 resistance thanks to MotW.
- Frost Shock. Early. Often.
- When a Rogue jumps you, DO NOT PANIC. Pop Shamanistic Rage. Wait til you see the Kidney Shot Icon, their second stun usually, and pop your trinket. Drop your Stoneclaw to Earthbind, Instant Ghost Wolf to get your kiting game started, either run backwards to screw with them, or generally just get moving. You want to get out of arms reach. Fight on your terms, not theirs. Once you punish them once they will remember it.
- Savor those times when you find a target with no resilience. The old triple crit WF will make you feel like a tiny god.
Good luck, and make sure to have fun. You are playing a VERY challenging class to PvP as, so anticipate the learning curve, and just know that it gets MUCH better.

This.
Today I killed a mage wearing good PvE gear without using any of my skills. Between the two melee hits, the Flametongue proc, and the two Windfury hits, I did ~19-20k damage. It was pretty nice since I was able to turn around and take down the Mage's friends -- a Boomchicken and another Mage -- in almost the exact same manner. Was some awesome stuff right there. Especially since I did it all again as they ressed and tried to gank me :P
Anyways, I guess that also teaches a lesson; Resilience will save your butt and stop you from getting hit for almost 20k damage before you can say "wtf!" ;D
