How do I make a frame to act like the player/team/raid frame, so I can use @mouseover macros on it?
Does a simple :EnableMouse(true) would do the job? I doubt that it is no, or not enough.
I am not at home, so i cant test yet, but I am making an "ebauche" of what im gonna make, so i would like to know now.

Why not download the basic grid and see what you need from that? Simply strip it with options to just names and frames if you don't need the HP or anything.

Yea I figure you have to use some secure template and associate it with a particular unit, right?
If grid's code is a bit huge, you could also check out oRA2. The tank targets that it provides function as mouseover targets.

Or I could do it myself to learn how it is made isntead to use somebody else already made stuff :P
I got it done, its all working fine.
Now my only problem is I seem unable to figure out how to make a string.format to show 2 digit after the "." >_< (cant find it on web ffs, wtf)

How would you get unit functions working on a frame that doesn't inherit from a secure template?

@pelf: Never said anything about that. Was talking about library (i guess it was that) that you both pointed out.
@H5: Damn im stupid... i was trying "%.2d" >_<

Oh, you misunderstood me then. I meant, you could look at the CODE of those addons to see how they did it -- not that you shouldn't try to do it yourself :).

i as well was not saying USE it, just as a basis/guide... see how they did it and see if that is similar to what you want to do.
