Honestly, it's been going downhill ever since Greg Street (AKA Ghostcrawler/Bancrawler) become the lead mechanics guy for the fights. How does someone with a marine PhD get in a position like this, anyway?

That's ridiculous. So how many of us are going to be banned for intentionally exploiting the H HoR Lich King escape fight? Read the posts in that thread; their rogues use saronite bombs in their damn rotation. Who says it's an exploit? The butthurt developers that made an easy enough encounter for it to be downed this quickly.

Unintentional Bug... but there were rumours of all their engineers power leveling the craft in the same day.....
Still, it's nothing new for that guild; you'd think by now they would have figured it out: Play the game right, and you can keep those shiny shiny Feats.

Once again, Blizzard pulls something out of their ass for fun. First, they ban an entire guild out of embarassment for their screw up of sending them an artifact, then they pull a stunt like this and ban the top guild for planning it out well?

I just read Muqq's whole post, and I just want to 'QFT' these parts :
The amount of time and effort we dedicated to get through Wrath of the Lich king and Icecrown to see this guy die and take a turn at Arthas is just sick. To finally see him die only to have the ENTIRE raid banned is simply an insult. It's cheap enough to make a bugged $%^&ing encounter, but to ban people when they do not know what's causing the bugs is just a #$%^ing joke. If you spent hours observing us in GM-mode when we beta-test the encounters for you on live, at least make sure you ban us for the right reason. Handing out suspensions when players encounter a portion of the game that is bugged is very short-sighted and insulting. There's been hundreds of thousands of bugs in this game up til now, and most people don't get banned, when just playing their game through the bugged content you throw in their face.
From Blizzard's angle, how do we know that in the Hakkar encounter, killing his sons and bathing in their blood, causing us to not get damaged by that spell from Hakkar, is not a bug?
Shoving PTR down our throats every patch is one thing, it's fine that we %^&*ing beta-test @#$% for you, but then you go and suspend players when they do content that was never tested on PTR, and happened to be bugged. Content which you don't bother quality-assuring more than sticking a #$%^ing godmode GM and 5 test dummies into the encounter and blasting past the phases without using abilities. Give me a break. You know more than us that we kept using our normal rotations and didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Why would we bother trying to kill valkyrs every attempt, and have the bug happen on only about half of them before wiping? You think we wanted to waste attempts if we knew how to exploit this cluster&*!@ of an encounter of yours?
Their rogues bloody used it in their rotation. Repeat,
they used it in there rotation
, for God's sake. if it bugged for them, it wasn't their faults. They didn't even know it.

I think you're missing the entire point. Blizzard can ban you for any reason and even for no reason. What people are angry about is Blizzard made a half-assed encounter that was steam rolled on 10 man then 25 man and now they're crying because one of the biggest characters in Warcraft was killed twice in less than a day.
@Tim- How many world firsts has Ensidia "lost" because of bug abuse? I can't think of any. Also, if Ensidia has such a bad rep then why are they
INVITED by Blizzard
to Blizzcon, etc?

I think it's stupid to complain about Blizz making bugged encounters. WoW is a feaking big game, just think of what they've given us already! Years of entertainment, and now they're being scold at for a bug? Stuff happens, every single one if us could screw up like that. About Ensidia being banned, I'm nor a fan enough nor do I know the facts enough to make a judgement.
