If your tank pulls a big group you could always put an exposive trap down in the middle of them all then volley :) MD might be a good idea if you have a warrior/druid tank.

If the group consists of melee and casters,I throw down snake trap..
If it consist of nothing but melee then Explosive Trap
If you really bored, throw down a frost trap
I don't know about you but I love using my traps! :) I'll find ways to utilize everything that is given to me...

As been said already:
MD > Explosive shot > Disengage > Multi/Volley > Profit on meters
I also use
Freezing Arrow
to proc my
LnL
if you are SV, but a Freezing Trap works just as well.
