Shatter Rounds or Iceblade Arrows?

I want to know which to choose, since when you go engineering you have to get gnomish or goblin engineering. Both does the same damage. If I was to get goblin, I can only make Shatter Rounds. And if I was to get gnomish, I can only make Iceblade Arrows. The trouble is what if there was a time suddenly a new upgrade for your ranged weapon appears in raids and you don't got the right ammo for it. You don't want to be at the AH buying the ammo because it's pretty expensive, when you can be saving your gold by making your own. Which should I go for?

Go with the one that is more expensive on your server and sell them?
On my server neither the bullet or arrow gose above 3-4g per 1000 stack wich is like 40g every now and then.

Blizz being Blizz I wouldn't be surprised if they change it so that engineers can make both ammo types regardless of Goblin or Gnomish specialization eventually. Nothing I can back up, but it seems likely.

You keep the epic ammo recipes whenever you change.
I purchased both when I hit honored, made a tonne of arrows, paid the 150g few to switch and then made a tonne of bullets. Once I upgraded my gun and decided to sell more arrows, I switched back, and I still had the recipe.
I have heard this from other engineers that I know as well.
Unfortunately, you can only see one at a time, so whenever you need more, you will need to switch.
