1) If you're going to stick with the daggers, then you'll want to stay away from combat. Whether you go assassination, or subtlety is a matter of play style preference. For many, combat seems to be the fastest spec to level with, so you might want to consider picking up the BoA main hand sword, and using whatever offhands you can pick up along the way. Assassination tree doesn't really offer the power until you're far enough along to pick up mutilate, which wont happen until you're at lvl 50+ For leveling, picking the spec to match the way you enjoy playing will make things seem to go faster whether or not it's considered the most efficient, so just make sure you're having fun along the way. Whichever way you go, I'd recommend putting 10 points into the combat tree to get
duel wield specialization, and
precision.
2) Openers in leveling aren't all that important, mainly because, a lot of the time, you won't have the opportunity to stealth to each mob. When it come to ambush vs garrote, I generally go with ambush against low armor casters, and garrote against higher armor melee, although the silence effect of garrote can be handy against caster mobs at times.
3) Since you'll be using eviscerate as you finisher for almost all fights, I'd recommend
glyph of eviscerate as your first glyph. If you go assassination and spec into the poison improving talents, then you might start using envenom as your main finisher, but by that time, you'll likely be using enough skills regularly to have an idea what to swap to from the eviscerate glyph.
4) In general, you'll look at stacking agility, attack power, and a fair amount of stamina. You'll definitely spend plenty of time taking damage, and you'll need plenty of stam to keep you going, but with good amounts of agi and ap, you'll take things down pretty quick.
You've made it through the toughest levels for rogue leveling. From here on out you'll start picking up the skills/talents that make the class shine, and a ton of fun. Since you have at least one lvl 80 to help things along, I'd suggest trying out the different talent trees as you level and see which one you like best. No matter what anyone says, there's no wrong tree to spec into for leveling, it's all about finding the one that's most fun to you.
