Simply put, it does not function. I have to manually upload each time in order for it to upload data. Not sure if it's a UAC thing or not, but I've yet to get a UAC prompt or anything, so I'm not quite sure what's going on.

Well it doesn't remember the "start with windows" option either, so that may be the issue, but it seems weird that everything else functions just fine...

And you've give the Client admin privileges?

As a note: I have no issue with the client with auto-start setting or auto-upload on Win7 64 bit, however my setup is a bit different. UAC disabled, WoW installed on another drive, not Program Files.
I can confirm that in the past I did need to run as admin in order to set the auto-start when I used UAC.

hmm I'll try running it as admin... though I don't remember that having any real effect last time I tried.

You can also drop a shortcut for it in the Startup folder.

Ya i did that to fix the startup issue, but it still won't upload when wow exits... maybe it's because I don't launch wow through the client?

I never do, I just use the WoW Launcher.
The Wowhead client just monitors the processes and triggers when the WoW process ends. It may have to run as administrator if UAC is enabled, I never had any issue with the auto-upload even with UAC, so I am not positive.

I'm aware of how it should function (comp/sci major XD), but it seemed odd that it was not functioning properly given that it does not produce any UAC prompt or error message of any kind.
That said however, the auto-start with windows option seems to have actually changed after launching it as admin. It still doesn't auto-upload after wow exits, though this may be a byproduct of me launching the client as admin after wow was already running.
