It's easy to be rude when everything happens anonymous. Everyone can act immature and be a total idiot amongst others. It takes somewhat of a person to be friendly and caring.
Just yesterday I was doing an instance with an alt, I was the healer. I had a + icon next to me. A shaman who had most points spent in Restoration had signed up as damage and healer but I got the healer role since I only signed up as that.
He sort of asks if he should heal and I tell him "No, the icon next to your character says you are damage.", on which he replies that he also picked healer. I said may be but I received the healer role. Apparently he didn't take this so good and troughout the instance he bashed everything I did. He got damaged on purpose by creatures he pulled off the tank and if he didn't receive an immediate heal he would cry about there not being any party heals.
Yes I very much took offense, but it got worse when we wiped and he ofcourse ressurected everyone but me (I kind of saw that coming). I tried to reason with him by telling him he was acting like a complete idiot and should grow up. But got the obvious "lol" response. So I just ignored his bashing talk for the rest of the instance.

Anyway in short I always try hard to stay calm and friendly even though someone is a complete ass. Because even though it's wrong to be one, you shouldn't act an ass to get rid of one.

I may be mistaken but aren't the 4 others supposed to vote "kick" to get rid of someone? That would mean you vote kicked your own guild leader , how rude!
QFT, I call BS on this story unless you really did kick you GL.
Also, the Bubble/Hearth insta wipe has lost most of it's effectiveness since, as long as you are not the last person to drop group, you will be teleported out of the instance if you use LFD to find a group.
Not true, I also had this, a whole group wanted a damage dealer kicked for no reason other than he said something to the healer which he took offense too. Before I could click the box was gone and he was kicked, I was going to click no.

ok i have 1 thing to say, it is elitest jerks that stuff this game around. now i have one thing to say about your GM, he is a moron, raider or not, he has to work with others, and no raider i know is that stupid

So i take it as point of thread "hai guyz, my GL and I are asshats to people so if you kick one of us, then prepare to lose the next!"
Don't expect any sympathy or anyone actually agreeing with you here. It's not that hard to be nice to other players.

I'm very surprised that a "hardcore" raiding guilds leader would have so little patience. High standards, yes, but not low patience.
Are you sure you aren't just a guild who does normal raids and think clearing them every week makes you hardcore?

Only takes three votes. Which is why I have left groups when the vote comes up early in a run. I usually go "WTF?" and if anyone responds "their gear sucked" I say, well I'm the tank and you guys can go live in the DPS LFD queue... later

People should take a close look at the realms and guild affiliation of those you random LFD with, or at least talk things out before you kick people. I play a Paladin Tank, and I often group with my guild leader playing his alts. My guild leader has quite a mouth on him, and being the hardcore raider he is has little tolerance for people pulling stupid crap in heroics. He gets kicked a lot, and I tend to take it badly. Pull, Bubble, exit, and watch everyone else wipe.
Be careful who you casually kick...
Wow, so you're literally saying, "Don't call my friend a prick when he's being a prick, or I'll be a prick to you?"
I don't care if you are a tank, or your friend is a hardcore raider. Neither is an excuse for being an ass. I'll take the wipe, and you can go back to waiting in LFD while I get a group with people who aren't complete arsefardels.

LOL@hardcore raiding guild....for one...if that be the case why are they in the LFD?...wouldnt his quote on quote hardcore guild help him through heroics...wouldnt it be faster for 3-4 raid geared chars to roll through this...this kid doesnt know what hes talking about...stop posting for the sake of posting

OMG I think I am the GL in the original post.
1. Every post after the first is pathetic
2. If someone who is decent at the game points out you are garbage its probably because you are getting a free ride through a heroic and you are garbage.
3. Its usually funny when someone harrasses me and I wouldnt take it personally.

It takes more then one folly for someone to get pointed out. My goal when doing a random heroic is to get it down as fast as possible. It takes time to type out why are you stacking spirit as a pally? or whats your hit rating warrior? The biggest failure I have seen was when we had started a group and a dps dk told everyone to wait hed be back in 2 mins. I said lets start we dont need 3 dps and he started whining and calling me names. I didnt take offense as soon as the 15 min buff was gone he found himself lfd.
You sound like a real winner.
