Why is there no love for the Draenei

Draenei Death Knight:
... I suppose it's somewhat plausible, there could have been a few Draenei that were killed and turned into DKs by the Lich King.I actually wrote a story in which I tried to explain it in a believable manner. Your mileage may vary as to whether or not I succeeded.
I do like the worgen for alliance though, as for the horde it wouldn't make any sense.I think he was trying to imply that worgen were an all-around bad choice for a playable race, regardless of faction.
The graphics for WoW aren't THAT bad, and the reason why they don't look as realistic as, say, Aion or whatever, is because Blizzard wants WoW to be available to as many people as possible, so the game has to have low system requirements.I've
heard
that most computers that can run WoW effectively can run Aion. My computer is old and clunky, but can run DDO (which has more
detailed
graphics than WoW, although I wouldn't necessarily call them better) on maximum settings.

To be fair, some of the Lost Ones no longer consider themselves draenei (then again, they're not entirely sane). A good number of the Broken, on the other hand, want to become unmutated again.Aye, the Lost Ones are those who... well, lost their minds, and only see themselves as Broken... of course, they also attack anything and everything, so yeah, the Wretched analog is perfect.
Draenei Death Knight: ... I suppose it's somewhat plausible, there could have been a few Draenei that were killed and turned into DKs by the Lich King.Sure there were; Draenei that arrived on Azeroth and went exploring rather then marching on through the Portal back to Outland. My own Draenei DK's background story more or less says that, killed in Stratholme as part of an Argent Dawn Assault.

Here's the story I wrote
. (Yeah, I know, could be better...I was on a deadline!)

Draenei Rogue trying to gank in Blackrock Mountain:
*klip klop klip klop*
It would be fail. And no, this wasn't in a game perspective, it was in a real life one.
Heh, tell that to the Devilsaurs who sneak up on people all the time lol.

Or the fel reavers in Hellfire Peninsula.
How something so big not make noise boggles my mind.

Hooves can be muffled. The main issue is cultural, not anatomical.
Or the fel reavers in Hellfire Peninsula.
How something so big not make noise boggles my mind.I've only been surprised by a fel reaver once; they sound, as someone put it, like a freight train in a tuba factory. (Now, devilsaurs, on the other hand..and fjord reavers...)

Ah, I see. Still, worgen are a LOT better than some of the ideas other people have come up with... Murlocs, Naga, etc...
The only other plausible race I could see in Azeroth as a playable race would be Furbolgs. And IMO, that might've been a better choice with Cataclysm, since there are only two (?) uncorrupted furbolg tribes in Azeroth (Stillpine and Timbermaw, I think). And with the world exploding, it would only be fitting (possibly a third uncorrupted tribe comes out that's playable, or we play one of the previous two). And furbolg druids would actually make sense!

That's interesting. In my own experience though, WoW is the only MMORPG that I can run on decent settings. My computer is only 3 years old (yeah, "only"), but it may be because it's a laptop.

(I'm currently in the process of building a new one.)

Now, I don't see why people keep saying that naga are unworkable. (Personally, I'd have taken them over worgen any day.)Most of them are completely and totally loyal to Azshara....... plus, game mechanic wise, they'd be hard to outfit and the like. And you know, the whole Old God/Almost giving Azeroth to the Legion thing heh.

Most of them are completely and totally loyal to Azshara....... plus, game mechanic wise, they'd be hard to outfit and the like. Most worgen are mindless, ravening hellhounds. If Blizzard wants to rule that there are enough exceptions to the rule to justify a new race...they do it. There'd probably have to be an introductory event, but it could be done.
And as for outfitting? Pants become kilts, boots become tail cuffs, ride sidesaddle. Only major issue I see is jumping animations, which might look awkward.
And you know, the whole Old God/Almost giving Azeroth to the Legion thing heh.Well, the Horde accepted undead, and the Alliance accepted what are technically eredar...

that right there, where i bolded, is why naga will NEVER be playable. if they can't jump, they can't be played, case closed. It's not that big of a deal. I jump but only because I'm bored. The only time you really 'need' jump was in a few instances, and that's it. I don't see Naga being added in more for the Lore issues then a few game play mechanics.

and i fail to see why they'd be better than worgen, id rather have a race that could properly mount things and jump thank you.I already said that mounting wouldn't
be
a problem.
As for the problem with the playable worgen? They've been stripped of the vast majority of the ferocity and the cool factor of worgen mobs. (Look at it this way: If any segment of the fanbase can look at the female concept sketches and think that "Caramelldansen" would be an appropriate /dance, something is seriously wrong.)

oh and lolotea, just wait a sec here, i'm going to explain something to you..............
you see, not everyone shares the same opinion as others. you cannot go around saying that "this thing looks bad and that's a fact" because it's not a fact, you see, there are alot of people who think that thing you hate the look of looks cool and great.
and seriously can you stop saying the same goddam thing over and over again.
you keep repeating these words "worgen sukzorz" "i hate their modelzorz" "dey no look fierce nor coolzorz lulz". i think , ya i think everyone here on the interent, gets it now lolotea.
we get it lolotea, you hate worgen more than cancer. we get it, can you seriously do this one thing, this one thing right now, wait for it..........................
STOP SAYING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN ABOUT A RACE AND STOP LISTING WHAT ARE MERELY YOUR OPINIONS AS IF THEY ARE FACT IT MAKES IT CLEAR THAT YOU DO NOT RESPECT THE OPINIONS OF OTHERS AND THINK OF YOURSELF AS SUPERIOR TO OTHERS WHO DISAGREE WITH YOU.What you have just done here is called "projection." Not to mention "exaggeration." And let's not forget "ALLCAPS" and "temper tantrum."

Both of you stop. And there's no need for caps Delmarus, seeing as you seem fine with jumping down other's people throats if they say one bad thing about the Worgen.
