I play an Enhance Shaman and it takes like 5-10 minutes to get into a random group. If I go in as my offspec Resto, I cant count to ten before a group forms.
I haven't run too many randoms yet and none of the new ones. When I do start running the new 5-mans I am hoping that I can roll on all the gear for both my specs.
I really only run the randoms for the badges, the gear doesn't interest me in the least. I dont even pay attention to the rolls, just hit greed or DE (if its available), then check my bags at the end of the run, to vendor.
Most groups I have been in have been very quiet and loot rules go unsaid. I have yet to encounter a 'Ninja'. A couple people have needed on Orbs but no-one seemed to mind.
It seems that loot rules need to be re-adjusted to the times.
Need on everything MS or OS if its an upgrade as well as the Orb.
Greed or DE (if available) on everything else
Just my 2 cents...
Till the above is tradition, I will continue to roll greed and/ or ask to roll need on my OS.

About hunters + rogues rolling on 1-hands:
Saying "upgrade is upgrade" is a bit weak IMO, since for the rogue they're upgrading stats AND dps, while hunters are only upgrading stats.
Hunters rolling on slow 1hands is one thing, but I've lost fast 1hands against hunters before and it's perfectly BS, considering how ridiculously rare fast weapons besides daggers are (the kind combat rogue needs for OH).
And to the OP my worst experience of ninja'ing so far was a resto druid needing on a BOE necklace and blatantly saying "It's for repairs"...like everyone else won't have a repair bill. And he'd died like 1 time total. When I flamed him for it the party was just like "oh great now we'll have to find a new healer"...too chicken to confront.

What I have noticed the most is enchanters rolling "need" on purple items that are not upgrades, knowing that most people won't check and they are getting a "free" shard without competition.
It isn't really a big deal, but it is a little annoying.
PS - Thanks for the ignoring tip, I'll be using that more frequently.

Upgrading stats such as agility, hit rating, etc, will result in an increase of the hunter's DPS. But the rogue still has priority, though.
No but I meant the weapon's physical DPS stat which a hunter makes no use of.

Dude I've looked at your gear, its good but not that great. I find it impossible to believe you are anything remotely like the best dps on the server when you are still sporting the Mirror of Truth and the Banner of Victory.
And the day I have to act like a selfish prick in a game to get the loot I need is the day I think I need to take a real long look at myself. This is a game and a social game at that, you advance more when you are part of a team.
100 bucks I put up more DPS than you do, maybe even in my BM spec at that lol and thinking my gear is "not that great", remember skill > gear, I know my class trust me. Like I said, my reputation for hitting like a MAC truck preceeds me on my server. And there is nothing wrong with those trinkets, they have been BiS for me of all the trinkets that have dropped I could have used. Don't think because they are i200 that they suck. And I get away with my attitude because of my DPS, if you ever get as hard hitting as me you tend to get special priviledges because they won't find a guy with as high DPS as me. You are probably thinking

Any self respecting guild leader, raid leader or officer would not deal with that atitude, they would give you a warning and/or Guild Kick, as i all I read here from you makes you the perfect example of the Loot%^&*! mixed with Primadona archetypes, and all those do to a guild/raid is create bad enviroment between everyone else.
At least I know you would not survive a day in my guild. Ok, we are not pros but we have fun while raiding wich is supposed to be the goal of a game.

Well, that's what I meant lol.
But there are 2 types of arrogant - 1 is: I'm so %^&*ing buff. And 2 is: You're $%^&, I'm the best.
The 2nd one annoys people more, but in all honesty, I don't really care about people's attitudes. I just want the boss dead so I can hearth and get my gold from the mailbox.

No lies here, these 5 ninja looting incidents have happened ever since 2 days ago.

I won't read because this isn't a major problem, just a personal one. On my battlegroup I have yet to see a second person talk about being ninja'd in an x-realm run.

High DPS=/= Skilled, this is just for the record, and thats the problem with persons like you. Recount is all that matters, you probably are one of those pros that refuses to move from fire in Koralon ( moving lowers dps) and when you die start to scream to the healers that they let you die.
And as for the example you gave about the geting, an axe taken from a rogue that would have better use out of it, we can only surmise you are not a team player and yes PVE is a team effort, its not a single player effort that downs the boss, if you think that go play single player games, there are lots of good ones.
The other thing I dont believe is when you say that you act like a ass to other players and everyone lets you do it without a well deserved STFU just bc you have high dps, let me tell you one news flash:
DPS are a dime a dozen. ( even skilled ones )

Of course Recount matters, because in the case of a wipe, we get rid of low DPS like you with no pros, who just wants to have fun with anonymous people and do a circle jerk in ventrilo LOL
and everything is a dime a dozen genius, it's a freaking MMORPG, millions of people
Ok, I may bewrong here but DPS=/= Damage done and its damage done that kills the boss, not High dps from one or 2 players, especially if they die on the begining of the fight with whopping 11Kdps and 2% damage done to the boss.
I have never been kicked from any group for low dps, so that is a moot point.
Please explain what is a circle jerk ( I really dont know).
If everything and everyone is a dime a dozen in this game then whay is there someone in this thread saying " I act like and ass, I enjoy acting like an ass and everyone better STFU or I will leave and its my dps that is killing the boss and no one else" ( ok this was an exageration but it should be correct enough for the purpose).
And even if my chars dont hold a candle to the pros in this thread at least I am still doing content and having fun, wich is what really matters.

It's a group of scrubs that have no intention of becoming better or learning any game mechanics because "they only play for fun".
