Some are incredible raiders (including 2 in my guild).
Well I belive you 100% kids CAN (But not often) be good at wow. My brother is 13 and he manages to hold his own but he isent that amazing guy.
The problem is kids are kids, most kids are immature and wont understand how wow works and it shows.

My 1,5 year old son plays wow, he sits in my lap and whines until i go to undercity and click repeatedly on the abomination guards, then he laughs and tries to sound like they do.
Thats some great parenting skills, i know.

Sadly, kids under 10 tend to be annoying, while the teenager population tends to be outright insulting and disrespectful.
Adult players FTW. :P
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but some of the rudest players I've encountered were adults. Physically, anyway. Mentally they were the equivalent of twelve year old children.
Age does not necessarily convey manners. People of all ages can be immature and annoying.

Kids just tend to be plain anoying while playing.
And they dont take critizism or anything that hurts their feelings well. This is why I try to avoid playing with them
Of course in easy stuff like 5 mans and what not I dont mind playings with a few kids as long as we get the stuff done. But in raids and higher end stuff playing with kids get old fast. They cant manage themselfs in a more hard core enviroment.

And what age group is 'kids'?
Well under 13 for sure, however it can extend all the way to immature 18 year olds, the only reason I exlude adults in this catagory is becouse they technically arent children, but there is immature aduluts playing wow also.
I spos I could use the term "kid" for any age group who plays like a kid, regardless of their real age. But I'm mainly talking about under 13 years old sense belive it or not, they tend to act the most like "kids" out of any of the age groups.

Its just the majority of those three age groups are what I said. Its not personal and I'm sorry for the 11 year old thats a pro and has the maturity of a 30 year old but you gotta realize that you are seriously a minority and it's not you who I am talking about.
I'm not saying that generalizations are always incorrect or bad. I'm sorry I wasn't very clear about that in my earlier post. You can have a trend in a given playerbase, with players who are exceptions to the generalization.
What I was trying to point out is that in my experience, the adult players who are immature were the worst offenders in regards to rudeness and insulting behavior. The teenagers who are annoying and act like idiots aren't as bad in regards to foul language (again, only speaking of my experiences).
And I can't honestly say I've run into many children under about 12 playing. A handful, but those were being supervised by their parents, and while the children may have been a little immature, they weren't annoying or rude.

I've found that regardless their age, any WoW player has the potential to either be a good acquaintance for questing or raiding, or the exact opposite and wind up sporting "Trade Chat" syndrome.
Age is irrelevant.

I have had both good and bad experiences with kids 10 years or younger. The GM's of my guild have a 10 year old son who is great. When he is on he really doesn't say anything at all but is a great player.
Back in vanilla wow i had a 9 year old following me around stormwind begging for gold. Finally i got tired of him and told him that i was mugged by some defias toons out side of stormwind. I said that if he got me my money back i would give him some of it. He agreed and ran off... like 20-30 minutes later I had totally forgotten about it but i get a whisper from the kid agian. He says he has my stolen money and wants to meet me so he can give it to me. I about fell out of my chair laughing when it hit me what he ment. I felt bad and told him the truth that i was never mugged. He was a little upset at me but also thanked me for teaching him how to earn money on his own.
