The room was silent as Rhonin, leader of the Kirin Tor, entered one of the dimly-lit chambers of the Violet Citadel. He was the last to arrive, as expected, four other figures stood around a circular table. Rhonin took his position at the head of the group, and looked at who was present. Warchief Thrall was present for the Horde, Lady Jaina Proudmoore for the Alliance, Highlord Darion Morgraine, and General Tiras’alan of Shattrath came for A’dal.
“I have asked for your audience because of the information that the explorer Brann Bronzebeard brought to us concerning Ulduar. The dwarf has already gained the means to siege the Titan prison, but by no means does he have the man-power to successfully conquer it. Dalaran and the Kirin Tor have spared all the mages we can, yet it won’t be enough without true heroes leading the charge.” Rhonin began.
“I requested that you choose champions from your respective factions...” The mage leader gestured his hand to the others present.
The four others looked amongst each other, before Thrall set down a single piece of parchment folded into a letter onto the table, “I have only one, but I know he will do the job admirably. Wrex Sharptusk, a troll warrior.”
“I have three,” Jaina casually set her letters down, “Two priests, a high elf—Lilana Oakstrider—and a human, Hervon Zaler, along with a young human mage by the name of Sam.”
Rhonin nodded towards the female mage before glancing at the men who had not yet spoken. Darion grunted before setting down a pulsating black paper.
“Her name is Rave,” The death knight’s voice echoed in the room, “Rave Thunderrot, a tauren.”
The General did not speak for a while, as if in deep thought. Finally, the draenei paladin set down two letters that seemed to glow from within, “Three champions from Shattrath.”
“You only have two letters,” Darion observed.
“... The first is directed to Dervar, a draenei mage.” Tiras’alan continued, ignoring the Highlored, “The second goes to Sylos Lightrunner, a paladin chosen by A’dal himself, and his companion, Demine Shadowrunner.”
All eyes fixed on Rhonin when he produced the two last pieces of mail, “One of these is from the Dragonqueen. A blood elf by the name of Valinaria, who already has experience with the Titan chamber, and her red dragon companion Minuru.” He set one of the letters on the table, and held up the other one, “This is from me; I will be directing it to a gnome warrior, Aruna Twinspark.”
Rhonin set it down, before gathering the other nine together and shuffling them orderly in his hands, “These ten, along with those already present in Ulduar, are who we pin our hopes on for destroying the maddening evil that lurks within.”
He took the letters and walked out the door that he came in from.

The champions that are to head to Ulduar have received letters from their respective leaders from the meeting with Rhonin. Those who have gotten them are instructed to head to Ulduar immediately, meet up with their fellow team members, and then get a briefing from Brann inside.
Ulduar is nearly the same as it is in game. Just... more guardians in between bosses. And much bigger.
We will be doing the encounters on hard mode, mostly because we don't know any better and some of them are really easy to mess up and do on accident. Those that aren't... we'll just make up excuses!
Pieces of Val'anyr will drop.
There will be a lot of time between boss fights for people just to chat. Loot will drop (in chests spawned from magical means), and it's not going to be your normal instance! Anything can happen! Betrayal! Romance! Drama!
Just don't go insane....
Because there's no escape...

The Conquerors of Ulduar

: Aruna Twinspark
Race
: Gnome
Description
: Aruna is your mostly average gnome. She's two and a half feet tall, with bright neon pink hair that's pulled back into pigtails. Often polite, she's caring, and knows when it's not her turn to talk. She tries to be a peacemaker, and is a brick wall (a tiny one, at that) between the enemy and her friends. An engineer at heart when not on the battle-field, and sometimes her wacky inventions can be handy when she is fighting. She wears a golden version of Dreadnaught armor from Naxxramas, and is armed with a Red Sword of Courage and a Royal Crest of Lordaeron as her shield.

Description
: Wrex is a well known military commander for the Horde. He’s a little taller than your average troll, he has a large scar over his left eye and his ears are half their size from being cut off. Wrex always stays calm even when death is most certain and when faced againest impossible odds. Wrex carries a large axe that’s has a skull in the center of the axe blades and it has killed hundreds of scourge, demons, and alliance. He also wears a tabard that represents Sen'jin. Wrex wears some of the best plate armor.

: High Elf
Description
: Lilana is a typical Quel'dorei. She is 5'11 and weighs about 120 pounds, although she is not as thin as her Sin'dorei cousins. She is fair haired, and fair skinned. She takes care of her appearance, so she always tries to be presentable. She has glowing blue eyes and fairly long ears. She hates demonic magic, and believes wholly in the Light since the fall of the Sunwell. She is angsty, and despite the Sunwell being restored, Lilana still has a strong magic addiction. She still needs to meditate and consume Arcane relics, and can be tempted by Fel.
She believes strongly in the Holy Light, but has reverted to the Shadow twice to save her life, but she does not usually rely on Shadow magic. She wears a white version of the Vestments of Absolution. She is armed with a Staff of immaculate recovery usually, and has a crystal dagger and a mace of Karabor when her staff fails her.

: Discipline/Holy Priestess, occasionally falls into the Shadow when the need comes.

Description
: Sylos is 6 foot tall with short blond hair and wears gold and white armor and carries a scythe as his weapon. He believes in the light and was chosen as A'dal's warrior to be his high blade. It takes a lot to set him off but when you do he summons two fiery dragons to fight for him.

Description
: Demine is about 5.9 and wears blood red robes. She used to be a priest but when the Sunwell fell she felt she needed a change of pace. She Likes to fight and will sometimes look for a reason. She is secretly in love with Sylos though he doesn't realize it and is the only one she'll listen to.

Description
: Auburn hair, normal elven height and skin. Black circle on her shoulder, and when she gets extemely mad or upset, her eyes turn black and she talks with Yogg-Saron's voice.

: Was redeemed from death by Valinaria, and is friends with her. The Wyrmest Accord wanted to send a represenitive to aid in Ulduar, and Minuru was eager to help her friend get revenge on Yogg-Saron.

Background
: Not much as of yet, still getting used to this character. She broke free of the Lich King and joined the Horde, but is still not trusted 100%, and doesn't trust the Horde that well either. Was a shaman before death.
Personality
: Doesn't trust people, kind of quiet, rude, sarcastic. Willing to work with both sides to get the job done, but wont neccesarily be happy doing it. She loves killing, fighting and arguing, her method be 'kill now, ask questions later'.
Appearance
: Rave has faded brown and white spotted fur that has taken on a greenish tinge from rot. Her horns are small and curved, one being cracked. You can see her teeth through her rotted cheeks, and her eye sockets are sunken in with a blue glow. Various bones stick through her skin, as well as patches where muscle tissue is shown as well...

: Hervon Zaler
Description
: Hervon is a human priest, roughly the age of twenty-five. He has red hair, his body clean of scars. His hair reaches down to his ears, and his skin is a regular shade. He is a holy priest that holds his beliefs tightly, following the orders of his king and of the Light.
He will always aid those in need, regardless of faction unless they try to attack him. If he is attacked, often he shows no mercy then, burning his enemies in holy fire.

: Redeye is a full worgen, granted uncanny intelligence by a Titan artifact that he found. He now seeks to bring peace to the world through shamanism.

Flame Leviathan
This massive armored tank guards the courtyard entrance in Ulduar. The watcher Mimiron constructed the Flame Leviathan as part of his V0-L7R-0N weapons platform.

Like the other creations in Ulduar, Ignis now serves the Old God Yogg-Saron. This imposing fire giant toils over the Colossal Forge, creating the iron armies that will conquer Azeroth in Yogg-Saron's name.

Previously known as Veranus, this creature was captured by Loken and twisted into a vicious weapon. Under Loken's orders, Ignis the Furnace Master fused iron plates onto Razorscale's scales to enhance her deadly strikes.

Mimiron engineered this clockwork giant, who dominates the scrapyard area in Ulduar. XT-002 considers himself to be his inventor's son, causing the machine to behave like a young boy.

The iron armies are led by three fearsome generals, each representing a different race. These leaders are known as Stormcaller Brundir, Runemaster Molgeim, and Steelbreaker.

Loken requisitioned Ignis the Furnace Master to create this towering giant as a guard for the Shattered Walkway. His oversized proportions, including a pair of massive arms, allow Kologarn to easily crush any intruders who attempt to reach the inner sanctum.

The giant Hodir once presided over the Temple of Winter, lending his guidance to the frost giants in the Storm Peaks. Now the watcher dwells in an ice cave in the Halls of Winter, forced to serve the will of Yogg-Saron.

Aruna sighed slightly, wrapping her arms loosely around the neck of Kiridormi, the bronze drake that had been willing to fly and escort the gnome warrior out to Ulduar. The pair passed the base of the Temple of Storms, and Aruna thoughtfully looked up at it, "Loken captured Thorim that one day..."
Kiridormi said nothing as her leathery wings beat through the air effortlessly. The gnome was appreciative of the bronze drake's help, but she was often dissapointed that Kiry didn't talk more when Aruna really wanted someone to chat with.
She raised her eyes to the looming Titan architecture in the distance, "Ulduar."

"We're getting closer." Kiridormi said, angling herself upwards.
Aruna held onto the drake tighter, which didn't seem to bother the bronze. "I'm supposed to meet the rest of the team outside the dungeon, I believe there's a large stairwell and the remains of a big bridge where they probably will be."
Kiry just kept flying,

Kiridormi and Aruna were almost there, much to the gnome's relief. "I hope other people are already there, I wouldn't like to be the first one and have to wait a while..." She sighed lightly, looking from side to side as stayed silent for the rest of the trip, just listening to the beat of Kiry's wings.

The death knight scowled as she flew on her nameless, skeletal griffon through the thick snow. She could see Ulduar looming in the distance, and what was left of her muscles quivered in anticipation. She longed to swing her runeblade, Soulbane through something. That was pretty much the only reason she had agreed to go on this mission that would most likely send her to her death.
Again.
Her scowl grew as she flew on, nearing the giant structure.
