Game time for gold idea.

Imagine if game time cards were trade able in game. I could go to my wow account management page, pay $15 and chose to have a game card delivered in-game to one of my wow chars. I could then either right-click it and get a code for my own subscription OR I could put the un-opened card on AH and let you buy it for in-game gold and add subscription time to your account.
It would be a way for people to buy gold without dealing with those shady gold selling scumbags that steal gold from compromised accounts, and it would take a bite into the current gold sellers market = good!
The way I see it, it would allow some people to play wow for free by paying their subscriptions with wow gold, and it would allow others to buy gold for dollars if for some reason they were too busy to farm it themselves. For Blizzard it would all balance out, those playing for free would have their subscriptions paid for by those in need of gold and no new gold would be added to the game.
Since the in-game game cards can't be traded back to real life cash it would be of very little use to the current stock of gold sellers.
The AH price of "1-month of subscription" would probably fluctuate some and then find a somewhat steady level. If the prices got too low, people would stop spending $15 to get 250g. If the prices got too high, buyers would stop buying, "No way I'm spending 25.000g to save $15 on my subscription!". Even if some rich kid with access to a huge stack of petrodollars decided to buy a 1000 game cards and AH them all for 100g each, it would just mean that a lot of us got to play for free for a while. And if I end up with my $15 game card unsellable due to the rich kids dumping of the price, I can just add my game card to my own account.
I think it could work, what do you think?

In before "this would ruin WoW"
EVE-Online does it, and it's fine. However, I think that it would upset the economy on most servers and result in massive inflation.

I don't see where the inflation should come from. Just to clarify, I'm not talking about Blizzard selling gold or adding gold to the game.
You, as a player, can choose to sell me some of your gold in return for which I pay for your next months subscription. You trade me some of your gold, I trade you an unused game card that I bought for $15. The amount of gold in-game is unchanged and so is the amount of subscription dollars Blizz receives, only your next month of subscription was paid for with my credit card through the game card I traded you.

OR you could spend 30 minutes/day to make ~400g.
This WOULD destroy wow....or at least it's economy. Also it would be unfair. Why you that did nothing, but can spare 15 bucks, can have more gold than me that farm gold every day?

The solution of still being able to buy gametime from blizzard is a legitimate one, but what is the "value" of a months worth of gametime? we know the cost: $15, but is saving that $15 worth 100g? 1000g? to someone with a talent for AH, 1000g may be chicken feed, for someone like me, it's a month's worth of grinding, since you cannot put a stable value on the game card, we are going to by nature leave that up to the person selling it, which will not lead us anywhere good
Actually it's the buyers that determine the price. Would I like to sell a stack of Linen Cloth for 5000g? Sure! But no buyer is ever going to pay that much, so I have to keep lowering my price until a buyer finds it a reasonable amount to pay for a stack of Linen Cloth, which in terms means that it is the buyers that define the price even if it's the seller that enters the number.
Secondly, if 1000g is a months work for you, you probably wouldn't be buying any game time for gold but rather keep paying those $15 yourself. As already said, there won't be a fixed AH price for 1-month subscription, but it will balance out somewhere just as everything else on AH. Too expensive and people will stop spending their gold in order to save $15. Too cheap and people will stop spending $15 for a tiny bit of gold. Eventually we will strike a balance of just how much gold people are willing to spend to save $15 and just how little gold other people are will to pay $15 for.
Still, most of us would just keep paying and playing like always and the subscription things would just be another item on the AH. Once in a while if the price drops just low enough, we would pay some gold for it, get a month free and feel good about it.

You mean you want blizzard to convert wow in to one of those korean MMORPG grind fests? Where they sell game-time cards in the trade channel right beside the gold sellers?
You sir, are seriously wrong on the money!

This WOULD destroy wow....or at least it's economy.
Again, HOW would it destroy the wow economy? If I trade you 2500g in game does that destroy the wow economy? No, there is still the same amount of gold in the game, I just got 2500g poorer and you got 2500g richer. People trade money back and forth on AH every day, no harm done.
Actually making 400g in 30 minutes from questing/grinding is more destructive to the wow economy, that's 400g extra that didn't exist 30 minutes ago, that brings inflation.
Also it would be unfair. Why you that did nothing, but can spare 15 bucks, can have more gold than me that farm gold every day?
Try looking at it another way. If you could buy subscription time for gold from a vendor in the game, how much gold would you be willing to pay to save $15? I wouldn't pay 5000g, but I think 1000g would be fine with me. Naturally it depends on how good you are at farming gold and it's highly individual. But in general, if Blizz offered you to buy game time for a reasonable amount of gold you would be happy, right?
So if you're okay with buying game time for wow gold at a vendor, what's wrong with buying game time on AH instead?

I don't know about you, but I earn $15 a lot faster than 1000g, so for me, this is absolutely uselss.
Unless I start to sell the gaming cards, but I never was much of a auctioneer anyways, so I'll rather not and stay with that.

how good you are at farming has nothing to do with it. You can easily make 5k g/week only by farming 1h/day the hodir turn-in relics

Again, HOW would it destroy the wow economy?
There will be people who would do nothing but sell game cards on the AH and stockpile gold. Those people would drive up the prices on the AH because they can now afford to pay whatever they wanted for whatever they wanted. Why would I sell you a stack of titanium ore for 300g, when they guy selling game cards can pay 3,000g and not even have it make a dent in his e-wallet? It would be infinitely easier to corner the market on any item at any time. Let's say you have a tailor that needs frostweave cloth and the person that does nothing but sell game cards owns all of it and he lists it for 400g. The majority of the gold would be in the minority of the player base and they can totally dictate market prices.
That's how.

Lets say that the average price on a server for these cards would be 2000g, then guy A with more then he can handle can spend some real life cash to earn funds in-game.....
Where have we heard this before? The goldsellers ofc! And in the same way that buying gold off a website upsets the economy, this would too
