Dealing with Battleground Botters / Idlers

Hi there,
I've been wondering what the best way to deal with obvious battleground idlers / botters is. They seem to come out of the woodwork during the later hours and are pretty easy to locate; they'll stand in one place the entire match (namely the spawn point) and will use an ability / jump every 20-25 seconds on the spot, to a point where it's obviously not some guy pressing a button anymore, but rather an actual program or script working in the background.
The few I've spotted I reported Inactive and opened a GM ticket for their names / servers. In a very persistent case I went as far as to look up their guild (a rather reputable one on their realm) and contact their Guild Master over it, from who I have yet to hear back (happened rather recently).
What is the most effective way to deal with it though? Do GM tickets even cause any action to be taken, or should I just stick to rightclick-marking them and hoping that the problem eventually fixes itself?
Looking forward to hearing other people's actions regarding this.

1)kill them
2)report afk
3)if they use third party software report them to a gm

I enter a GM ticket if I keep seeing the same names, it's not super helpful though since I'm pretty sure the GMs that receive your tickets only manage your realm, and not your battlegroup. I make sure to ticket those who are on my realm.
Nah, they can go on any server. Got a GM who answered my petition on another server.
The second thing I do, and this really only applies to Isle of Conquest, is that I parachute over to the other base, and pretty much farm the heck out of the afkers, minimizing their honor gain on that map. One particular bot managed to end an entire holiday weekend match with 22 honor, and something like 37 deaths. It was glorious.
This is obviously a lie, considering they don't need to be alive to receive honor from BG goals.
Also, you guys are not talking about bots, but about auto-clickers. And there's nothing really Blizzard can do unless you report him AFK. Petitioning a GM won't change much.

Nothing. Besides marking them inactive. It's gotten worse lately since now we not only have AFK honor farmers, we have AFK XP farmers. Pathetic.

I was farming kills in AB with the same group of guys last night from other servers there were about 12 of us who kept queing up and ending up in the same AB. There was only one AB running last night so it helped :P. We had the same druid showing and never getting a kill. So we had it down pat, as soon as the gates opened all 12 of us reported him afk. 10 straight AB's not one honor or xp for the botter ;p. In fact, it was so funny, because every time someone died it was a running joke to say petpetpet (the botter) was trying to heal them. We took polls to see who thought he would move this time or if a horde would kill him this time.
One guy was really having fun, every time he would die he would yell (.... you, petpet, where are my heals). We even told one noob pvper to go find petpet and ask him to help guard the stables. There is really nothing you can do about it, but it sure was fun.
