Hello all, been reading all the helpful macros and was trying to get this to work.
#showtooltip
/cast Righteous Defense
/cast Hand of Reckoning
So when a DPS'er pulls aggro uses RD but other wise uses HoR.
Something that you might find interesting is a macro i've been using.
#show
#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=8 Hand of Reckoning, Righteous Defense
It doesn't really do exactly what you asked for but it's good if HoR misses you'll have RD ready without having to use another key.
If you want it to use HoR to pull with but to use RD when a DPS pulls aggro you could do something like this:
/cast Righteous Defense
/cast Hand of Reckoning
That will make it only use HoR out of combat. It's important to have them in that order as well otherwise HoR will first put you in combat then RD will be used since you are in combat.

As Raulnor said, you need to replace the mounts with your own. To be safe, I'll test it in game.

the only macro you need... ever.... is:
#showtooltip Hearthstone
/castsequence reset=3600 Divine Shield, Hearthstone
/y I'm a little pally, short and stout, Here is my hammer, here is my Mount, When I see an ally, here me shout!Then pop up a bubble and hearthstone out!

I had an issue with this macro, in that I would hit it once, and Divine Plea would activate. The cooldown timer on the spell showed on the macro icon (nothing unusual), but when I tried to hit it again to cancel the spell, it said "That ability is not ready yet." Anyone having this same issue, and is it possible for me to get some help? :)

The macro will always do that, just like it will do the same thing if you press DP manually.
Even if you use it to cancel DP it will still give the error message since it will always attempt to cast DP.

Holy:
#showtooltip Beacon of Light
/focus
/clearfocus
/stopmacro
/focus
/cast Beacon of Light
/in 55 /w Beacon out
I use this macro for raiding on my Holy paladin. what it does is:
nomod: cast Beacon of Light on your current focus, if you dont have a focus, it will focus your target and beacon it.
mod:shift: Clears you focus without casting Beacon.
mod:alt: Focus your current target without using Beacon.
Finally it will whisper you 5 seconds before the Beacon wears of
It wont cast Beacon if target is unfriendly or dead, so no auto selfcast mana wasting

Thanks svirve for the help with the DP macro. :) I was being a complete retard, and I didn't notice that it canceled it when I clicked it the second time and got the "spell is not ready" popup-thing.
Another question:
Kinda put this together with some of the other macros, but what are your (everyone's) feelings about this? This is assuming that the 2 trinkets share a 20 second ICD.

/cast divine illumination
/use trinket 1
/in 20 /use trinket 2"

It assumes that there's going to be 40 seconds or so of constant heavy spamming, then plenty of time in between those sessions where you don't need to worry about trinkets at all for them to come off cooldown.
I don't feel like you're going to see a full 40 seconds requiring use of trinkets and class cooldowns very often in fights that are more or less going well, so I'd worry about not being able to control my trinkets individually.

I understand your point, but the way I have my hotkeys setup usually makes it so the 2nd trinket almost NEVER gets used. I can't really setup a new hotkey without completely ruining my system. I'm just curious as to whether there is a better way of "wording" that macro above. I've gotten it to work thus far, but there has to be some other confusing way. :)
Please don't worry about whether it will be the most useful/have no purpose in "x" encounter.

And I was the same way about on use trinkets, until I started using the addon OPie.

PS. As a prot paladin I'm trying to find a way to bind Holy Shield to Hammer of Righteousness but have yet to get it to work, any help there would be nice, though i don't *really* care about prot
Both are on the GCD, no can do without castsequence.
Plus they're on different cooldowns.

the /in x command cannot be used together with /cast nor /use.
this is to prevent people from stop playing th game, as in letting macros do all the job for them.
PS. As a prot paladin I'm trying to find a way to bind Holy Shield to Hammer of Righteousness but have yet to get it to work, any help there would be nice, though i don't *really* care about prot

this would do the trick, though as mentioned before, they are on different CD's, so i dont recomend using this macro.
