There's a pre-raid list for a reason.
I'm sure you know that Rating Buster isn't the be-all and end all of determining gear upgrades, especially when we reach end-game
lolwat
If you AREN'T using Ratings Buster, you are either guessing, or are just that pro at maths.
Even the best theorycrafters and mathematicians around use it. The people over at Elitest Jerks / Maintankadin / Tankspot use it and the stuff that comes from there is much of what most people in forums etc will use, and
those guys
look to the author of Rating Buster for most of the numbers to base stuff off of.
Without it we would be a game of guesstimations and approximations when trying to figure upgrades.

To be clear - I use RatingsBuster. I have it, I love it. However, I sometimes don't know if 1.54% haste is worth losing my .99% crit on my mage unless it's very obvious (tier advantage, etc). I also use Rawr on my Mage, which is INFINITELY better than RatingsBuster given that it clearly takes into account hit caps and the like automatically instead of having to go back and reference this site regularly.
1. I use Rawr as well. Rawr is not 100% accurate. Saying it is infinity better is not only naive, but false.
2. Rawr uses RatringBusters math EXTENSIVELY as a base to go off in their own numbers.
I think Atlas Loot is a RAM hog and I skip it and just alt-tab it to look stuff up.
If this were the 1990s you might have a point. But its 2009. RAM is cheap, Atlas Loot is not going to slow you down.

How is what I said flaming,
emokid
, there is no reason performance wise except pure stubboness and ignorance (given your reasoning) not to run AtlasLoot. It doesnt effect video performance so try again, son. Just say you rather use wowhead, don't give an asinine reason.
<- There is your flame.
PS. You can configure RB tool-tip based on your spec at the push of a button.

Just use Wowhead search function, insert the correct parameters and a list of gear will appear.

Set up RB how you want it for the spec youre in. Save it as a profile and name it something smiler to that spec. Do the same for another spec.
I have a profile named TANK and another named DPS and I use
/rb profile choose TANK
to switch to tank mode and
/rb profile choose DPS
to go DPS mode.
