Wow im comeing with you if there ever was a zombie outbreak. It would be smart to bring a non amunition weapon to like a axe or machetie(sorry for spelling) just incase you run out of ammo and I saw a problem. Keep the inner doors closed, so it doesn't get overrun also. Have them all padlocked, and openable with one key, which is always hung from a chain around your neck.
If your traped you might not be able to get to the key in time and if their SuperZombies then you wouldnt have time to build an empire, the zombies wouldn't die off, and they, sadly, wouldnt be affected by any weapons.
I thought about that. The problem is that I said the zombies are 'highly infectous'. If you get close enough to hack at something with a machete or an axe, you are going to get blood on you. Bad idea. The only real answer is to run and hide.
To answer your question about the tunnels: Imagine a grid of tunnels, like a bunker, under the entire place. Every 20 yards there is this metal encased and welded 'box' coming up out of the ground with a door in it. Every door leading to the outside is open. Inside the bunker, every 10 yards there is a door that is closed. This way, you can run into your bunker, and slam the door behind you. That one will be latch locked from the inside. One outside door will be unlockable by padlock, in case you accidentally shut the outside doors, you can still get in and prop them all back open. If the zombies run into a door in a different 'box', they wont get far because they don't have the key. Now you can open certain doors, and bypass boxes that lead to zombies, and snake your way to the safety of your helicopter. It would be inportant to fashion the doors out of plate steel, with access to the padlock from both sides, and viewing ports to check for zombies. You have to place the doors just right, so that you cannot access the grid without going through at least one locked checkpoint. Also, putting so many doors will be good insurance versus a door failure or two. Make sure there are provisions every 2nd door just in case you get trapped, you have time to figure out a way to get unstuck.
This bunker is the ultimate in zombie defense.

Zombie Apocolypes! How would you survive?
If they are any type of zombies I would play Doom3 to figure out a strategic survival plan. <.<
Am I doing this right?

Speaking of water... you need to find some. Take those fuel containers to a local gas station. Fill some with gas, and some with water. You will need both.
All that preparation and Mytie forgot to label his liquid receptacles.
He'd likely die from drinking from the wrong canister :(

Here is
The Plan
I'm going to alaska, zombies have no body heat. They'll freeze like corpse-cicles!
Really bad idea. You also then have to worry about staying warm in winter. Where are you gonna get fuel? How are you going to stay warm? Where are you gonna get food?
Alaska is some harsh harsh country. Even with actively invested infastructure, it is still a hazard to go check your mail. Trying to survive there alone is not a winning venture.

Get my Benelli, some food, ammo, and hunker down in location with only one entrance and a perfect vantage point for shooting.
