What's your #1 wow pet peeve?

Current peeve is Alliance players logging onto Horde alts to screw with Wintergrasp. Alliance players probably have to deal with Horde players doing this on other servers. As much as i cringe at how Wintergrasp might change in 3.2, it's not very fun right anyway. My server has Horde dominating Wintergrasp, so the Alliance players are understandably frustrated. They're reaching for every trick and exploit they can think of to give themselves an edge, and often prove themselves to be admirably clever. However, this other faction alt nonsense is getting out of hand.
It's gone from throwing up the ports to Stonard over the Wintergrap port... not that big of a problem... to spamming the defense channels with spam, disinformation & distrust, to sticking close to workshops to burden us with as many catapults as possible (sometimes soon abandoned, sometimes driving around doing nothing.) I used to think most of these people were inexperienced kids who were genuinely not playing well, but the efforts are getting more organized. It's probably a well-organized Alliance guild that wants to farm heroic VoA.
Genuinely losing to the other side is one thing. Seemingly being sabotaged from within is quite another. It's also near impossible to prove.

Your $14.99 says that you can play how you want, but the rest of the raids $349.76 says otherwise.
Then I have the right to tell you how to play as well, for under that logic, I pay $14.99 to tell you what to do, as much as you pay $14.99 to tell me what to do.
This is not communism. This is not a job. And I am under no obligation to listen to what you say. If I want to spec Ret, I will. You just happen to be lucky that I like tanking.
Not at all but if you play a Retribution Paladin and that's not what's needed for the raid, then either you go Holy/Prot (whichever is asked) or you don't get a spot. That is what I mean by the rest of the raid.
If you try to join a guild as a Holy Paladin and that's not what they need, then looks like once again, the rest of the raids money > your money. You either do what they ask or you don't get in.
If you dislike what the raid expects of you, find yourself a new guild, but either way, their money is what decides what you do. Either you change your spec, don't get in raids or leave.
By that logic I have the right to tell all pure dps classes to go and reroll completely because I need tanks and heals not dps.

Please understand that people who created pure-dps class are noobs and need to be carried.
The reason hybrids out dps them, is because the pure-dps are most the time noobs, and don't know that there is such a thing as a rotation. And don't tell them about getting hit capped, or their heads will explode.
So they need you to carry them, either by tanking or healing for double the time that a fight should take, because they are pure noobs, I mean dps, no noobs.
Now noobs, please understand, that some people are tired of carrying you, and want to relax amongst you noobs. Clicking on buttons, going afk and autoattacking on boss. Others want to check how much dps they can push out on their gimped toons, which are gimped only because they are designed to carry you. Either gimped by 5% in WoTLK or more in BC and before that.
Umm... excuse me?
People who roll a dps only toon are noobs?
Dude. We make up 75% of your little 'raid'
I've tanked, and I've healed, and niether seem to require more skill than playing a pure dps class to its full potential. More stressful, yes, harder? Hell no. Seriously? I really hate stuck up little !@#$s like you.
Go back to playing runescape.
Settle down there.
If you tanked and healed, you probably know more than a lot of people who only dpsed.
Also, pure dps are hardly 75% of my raid. There are 10 classes, 5 of which are hybrids. So we're likely 50% pure dps, got pretty mixed raid.
Yes, it is harder to know who to heal to make an attempt successful one, than who to dps. So healing is harder than dps. Tanking requires far more attention than dps as well.
And I'm not really calling all dps noobs. There are some awesome dps that know their class inside out, and contribute far more than simply damage on fights. They can CC, they can MD, they make right choices to make healing and tanking easier.
Just trying to get a rise out of you, don't worry, dps is fine if you're fine.

A concensus doesn't make it right. If we ddon't want to tank, we shouldn't have to. Just because people are impatient asses doesn't mean we should do whatever they want. The raids wants and needs are not worth more than mine. If there's room for a dps, you can spend your time finding someone who actually WANTS to tank/heal, instead of forcing us to. We should not be lowered to being everyone's slave as far as raid roles go just because we wanted to play a pally/druid/sham/priest/war/dk. Make your own tank/healer and quit bugging us about it.

Are you really THAT stupid? I never said a hybrid class's dpss as better than a pure dps class's dps. You want to know why I didn't say that? Because it's a load of crap. Go try raiding something that requires more skill than Archavon with others who can do things other than Archavon, then come back with some real information.

I have no problem with high levels farming low level mats. I understand rerolling professions, or gathering for your alts. I do the gathering for alts all the time.
What I don't understand is a high level toon feeling that because they can move faster (mounts, talents, whatever) that they have the right to all the nodes on the map.
I mean seriously, there are three+ nodes on the mini-map. Let me have one and go on my way. Don't waste my time and yours racing me to each node to make sure I don't get any...
I'll take it that wasn't aimed at me personally ;)
But no, I'd never race a lowbie to a node (and I know there are people who do). I know full well I can go somewhere the lowbie isn't questing and grind there till he moves. A certain etiquette should be observed, I feel: epic mount gets there faster, therefore they should a) have further to go, and b) give up the node if they know a nearby lowbie needs it.
That would be off topic, but the general lack of manners in WoW players does really grate my cheese :/

More like a 2 second walk. It's right there. When you land, you're looking at it. Thousand Needles on one side, Feralas on the other.
