Humans are living far longer than they normally live, and those with genetic mutations that would normally be put out of the gene pool are surviving. Cancer is the natural, or rather, unnatural, response to us living far too long or living at all. The worst thing would be to try to overcome cancer. MyTie, this is the equivalent of a Christian watching someone take a giant dump on a Bible.
Then why do some young people get cancer? Or are you saying some guy lived way to long and his dna mutated and his offspring now get cancer at a young age because he lived to long? I find this very dubious.
Cancer is a mutation of cells but the causes vary and it's not just from living too long, if that even is a cause. I mean eventually your body breaks down, but that's hardly the cause of cancer.

anyway I wouldn't do it, because once cancer is cured there will be some other disease that comes along to take its place. Plus whoever cures cancer is probably in it for the money, not for the welfare of human kind.
