Warriors were the only real tanks in the MC days, so my options were limited.

First i leveled a mage up, but i constantly took aggro from the tanks, even in raid, and it wasen't bad tanks, so i thought, hey! i'm so good at taking aggro, so why not make a char that's supposed to take aggro. And then i became a warrior, witch what the best tanking class when i made it (TBC)
So now i'm a prot warrior for life (when i'm not hacking and slashing in arms :D)

I found awesome Charge, run away from a mob, change and intercept. Also all the red stuff going around my weapons (blood rage / flurry/ zerker rage / whirlwind) was fun. I won't mention smashing ppl with a 2h and moster Execute crits.

I rolled a warrior for their charge ability pure and simple; reminds me of my favorite Diablo 2 class, Barbarian.

When I first started playing I had 2 roommates, a young married couple in their early 20s. She made a druid, he made a hunter. I wanted to make a warrior while I learned the game because it seemed basic. But instead I made a mage. We leveled together, did deadmines together, things like that. Got him to level 30 and got burnt out. This was back in Janaury-Feb 05, a few months after the game first released.
So with my burnt out level 30 mage I decided to pick another class. I wanted to pick something that was the exact opposite of mage. I looked at paladins. Armor, shield, healing, and melee compared to wet toilet paper armor, no healing, and anything in melee range killing me. The way I leveled him, it was a mix between prot and holy. I filled both roles. Took a while leveling but it was fun. Being impossible to kill was extremely fun compared to my mage who was extremely easy to kill.
I then made a warrior at one point, got him to level 12 and realized it was retarded. Quit the warrior and went back to the paladin. To this day I don't regret it because paladins are superior to warriors in every way. As far as tanking is paladins have better damage mitigation and better threat, and more utility when dps specced. And healing? You warriors dont have healing unless you spec bandaids or pick draenei.
The only reason we bring warriors to my raids is for sunders and commanding shout. Other than that, blizzard can just delete the class.

Wrong! Warriors can also get Lifeblood. Get your facts straight ;D
I made a warrior because they are challenging to play.

I rolled a Warrior because I needed my main to be a class that could hold her own for 80 levels without ever needing the help of other players. I'm a player who likes to approach the game in the same way that I played games like Diablo/Diablo 2/Dungeon Siege back in the day. That is not to say I never team or do instance runs, but I like the idea of being independent.
Also, I completely love Shields in World of Warcraft. What they look like, what they do and how as a Warrior you can use them as a weapon just as well as any other tool in the arsenal. Sure, a Paladin gets reflective damage as well, but it's not the same. A Warrior smashes his foes in the face with his shield and knocks them down. It just looks and feels completely awesome.
All that, and I really wanted to try my hand at tanking instances. I know it's not the easiest task that can be assigned to you and it's therefore that I wanted to learn it; as a guy that used to play rogues and hunters on another server, I wanted to get some recognition for my hard effort this time.. =)

I think you are in the wrong forums. Anyway
I started barbarian in diablo2, fighter custom in oblivion, Tauren Warrior in World Of Warcraft. It's the only way to go for me.
And the hardest also in any game. I think it's the only class that
feels realistic and legendary at the same time.
