For some reason I though you were for the scourge morec...
I am, I can't help it that Blizzard makes me play as Forsaken.
In turn I have developed sympathy for the Horde.
Kill me now...

At the very best, the Alliance COULD choose to ignore the Horde and just maintain their guard. King Wrynn feels this is an unacceptable risk.
Actually if varian was any wise he would put his revenge down. The lich king want this kind of anger amongst the factions, The lich king wins if the alliance and horde goes to war! Also if you watched the ulduar trailer, you would see the danger in varian wrynn, he practically says that The Death god can come and enslave us(he said it out of anger then the horde showed up, so he is not good for us)!
He does not care, he is an unstable force in the alliance. If alliance had any brains they would tell him to shape up or risk getting kicked out of the alliance and gang up with another kingdom:)

Man this is serious nonsence, Varian has peacefuly come to meeting with Rhonin about threat in Ulduar. Then horde showed up (with its most aggresive $%^&*!@). Varian recounting the events at Wrathgate asked what are they doing there. Response? horde "ambassador" drawed weapon and insulted king. What was he supposed to do? Stand there and do nothing? and in the end if i remember correctly he said something like" "Do whatever u want, u are not getting my support", not " ^&*!in Horde we be at war noobz". He is fighting war against LK and now suddenly "old god" emerges? Seriously, would u believe it? He never said anything about declaring war on horde so chill out .

After the battle of Undercity I am sure he declares war on the Horde.

Not directly he "only" attacks warchief and says some stuff how bad horde is, no direct "We are at war".

Here's what he said to Thrall:
King Varian Wrynn says: I've waited a long time for this, Thrall. For every time I was thrown into one of your damned arenas... for every time I killed a green-skinned aberration like you... I could only think of one thing.
King Varian Wrynn says: What our world could be without you and your twisted Horde... It ends now, Warchief.
King Varian Wrynn says: ATTACK! FOR STORMWIND! FOR BOLVAR! FOR THE ALLIANCE!
And here's what he said to Alliance players:
Peace? Useless... It's gotten us nowhere. We have lost some of our greatest heroes to "peace." Let us see what battle brings...
He wants full on war.

Ok, anyway in storyline of WoW it is inevitable, Alliance must be enemy of horde ingame and in lore otherwise there would be no PvP and only idealistic world of good united against bad :)

Just look at TBC. The Horde and Allaince were geniunely working together for the most part and there was still PvP. It's possible for the leaders to have peace as a goal and still have the lower ranking commanders fight over territory and the like. ;)

If someone already pointed this out, sorry for repeating but to the OP i see one very said out problem-
Its bad when the dwarves attacked the orcs at Av because its their home, but when the orcs attack the Night Elves in their home its fine because they didn't know what was in there?
Its fine if I do it but I will knife you if you do it to me is not fair at all- I do not care about their culture in this case- you cannot make your cake and eat it.I actually pointed that problem out myself.
I would probably say that ultimately, the Frostwolves are wrong. They should allow the dwarves access as long at they don't interfere with their lives. However, I think the Night Elves are more wrong, as they shot first and asked questions later, the Frostwolves had a legitimate reason to fear that they were being invaded.
Perthaps I'll come back later and try and explain my opinion better, I didn't get very much sleep last night.

Um, you do realize that the Night Elves have been living there for centuries, and the orcs were, IIRC, deforesting the land?Soooo?
Cutting down trees is not a crime worth killing over. Hell, they didn't even know that anyone was living there before the Elves started sniping them.

But still the Warsong are wrong, yet I don't think the peace talks had the chance to discuss the warsong conflict properly.Right, I'm not saying the Warsong aren't wrong. It's like two kids fighting over something. They're both wrong, but the Night Elves started it.
*Orc kid picks up toy lying on the ground*
Orc kid: Hey! Cool toy. *goes to play*
Night Elf kid: Hey that's mine! *yanks toy out of orc child's hands*
Orc: Nuh uh, I found it lying around.
Night Elf: Right where I left it!
Orc: Is your name on it?
Night Elf: No, but I've had it for ten thousand years!
Orc: Well, I found it so *raspberry*...
Night Elf: Gimme!
Thrall: *sigh*

The Night Elves started it, yes but they have been doing it for 10 thousand years.Protecting Ashenvale Forest and the Well of Eternity for any who would dare to threaten it's balance.
OK, the night elves shouldn't have attacked without talking but you must think like they have.
The first attack was lead by a grunt: "Oh, finally some fun.Yet another lowly race intends to burn our forests.. ATTAAACK"
The second attack was lead by Cenarius, he felt the pain the forest suffered and urged to act.
The thing is that the lore here is static, blizz won't change it.
So there will never be a peace talk that solves the whole thing.
Oh great... you're making me want to roll a night elf...How does that make the Night Elves any less wrong than the Orcs?
