I've had the same problem Leeis, but the thing is, sometimes i pull more DPS with rupture and sometimes without. But i keep Rupture up always so that i don't ever have to worry about trying to throw a rupture up when i need to Envenom to get my SnD up when my HfB is running out.

^What he said. In addition, you should only be using Rupture every... four rotation of combo points. Making sure the uptime is constant is important. Add Glyph of Rupture (20s for 5cp) for maximum effect.
Also, don't forget that you require a bleed effect to re-apply Hunger of Blood. While many classes (Warriors, Druids, other Rogues) and their pets (Hunters) do that, you can't always rely on them. Keeping Rupture up is a DPS increase though.
For a rotation, do Garrote, Hunger for Blood, Slice and Dice, Mutilate x2, Envenom, Mutilate x2, Rupture. From there, Mutilate x2, Envenom until you should 4-5s left on Rupture. I usually Cold Blood my first or second Envenom so I can use it often. Keeping a few Thistle Tea in case of bad circumstances (knockback, stun, missed finisher) that might disrupt your timers.
