You do not address the existence of talents that modify crit chance by upwards of 30%. It's more like 50% crit.
Please, tell where are those talents cause i want to take them. Link them.
Resilience does not help when you can eat over 10k damage within 1.5 seconds. (Judgment, White Attack, proc, proc, Crusader Strike, proc. It's perfectly within the realm of possibility, and with modification of proc rates, actually happens quite frequently).
Judgement of the Martyr = 3k CRIT dmg on a 60 dummy. 1 gcd. Does
NOT proc SoM.
Swing, 3.4 ish speed = 3k crit on a 60 dummy. Does proc SoM, 914 dmg.
CS = 4,2k crit on a 60 dummy. Does proc SoM. 928 dmg, 2nd gcd.
Divine Storm = 1.9k on 60 dummy. Does proc SoM, 1.8k crit dmg, 3rd gcd.
Swing, 3.4 ish speed = 1.4k on a 60 dummy. Does proc SoM, 1.7k crit.
Total damage inflicted on the level
60 dummy: 18.8k in 4,5 seconds.
Self damage inflicted: 2.5k.
Now, you say i have talents that increase crit rating by 30, and 50%.
You are misinformed. Fanaticism (
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=31881) now increases Judgments crit chance by 18%, down from 30% a few patches ago.
Crusader strike, Divine Storm, Seal Procs, and white melee attacks use your normal crit chance.
Atm i have 22.6% melee crit.
Yes, it is low. But i also have 3.1k AP unbuffed, wich i prefer as stat, in PvP gear.
I gain an additional 3% crit from heart of the crusader (

Now assume i fight in Arena people with 9% less chance to be crit from resilience, its down to 16.6%.
After the initial 3 attacks burst, if the target isnt healed, or parries / dodges / absorbs, i may have a chance at Hammer of Wrath (never happened so far in arena, but lets theorycraft so) that has the increased crit chance by 50% you were talking about. Too bad HoW hits for nothing more then 3.8k, on 0 resilience (heroic dummy), and isnt spammable: has a 6 sec cooldown too.
So yes, i maybe overpowered when i fight lonely BG heroes (until i meet a frost mage...) with 0 resilience, but when it comes to kill people with 800 + resi, in arena, with teams healer + something, we need to use all the tricks to make it happen.
My shaman has to hex, i need to stun / rep right before we suppose the hex is over (instant heals ftl), and pray i get a crit streak.
If anything of the above fails, my focus is back up full and we need to start all over until our cds are ready again.
I know the grass is always greener on the other side, but you only see what you want to see.
You dont see ret's pathetic kitability, or the complete absence of interrupts and snares.
I went a bit off topic here, it was about 1v1, well my point is that 1v1 means nothing.
Yet i maybe can win them all if my bubble is ready, but i wont duel, and i wont use it if i do.

a melee class can heal him/herself to full health in a blink while he/she has an empty health bar...
This is so damn funny. It takes me 10 non-crit flash of light (only healing spell that has a chance to be cast instantly, see

That equals to 10 global cooldowns or 14ish sec cast.
Yeah, in a blink from empty to full. Sure.
