im pretty sure you need to make a /castsequence macro... the way macros work is that they issue every command in the macro simultaneously UNLESS you use a castsequence... in your macro its trying to fire every shot at the same time... obviously this isnt possible... try something like this:
/#showtooltip Steady Shot
/cast Hunter's Mark
/cast Pet Attack
/castsequence reset=3 Steady Shot, !Auto Shot
/castrandom Kill Command
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
hope it helps =)

OH...ha duh i knew that /petattack is what it shoulda been lol so much for copy/paste >.< but yes using a modifier would be much more efficient... heres my question to OP though... what if you want your pet to attack another target besides what YOU are attacking... like say you're DPSing skull in a raid but X attacks the priest.... you only wanna send pet at x without changing your dps target... your macro assumes that your pet is ALWAYS attacking your target... which (for me at least) isnt always the case =)
just something to think about =)
*EDIT* BAH! Sonic beat me to it lol we posted at the same time >.<

Always remember that any ability that triggers GCD (global cooldown) will not work in a one-click macro with any other GCD abilities. So you can have Petattack, Rapid Fire trinket/blood fury, and one GCD attack, but never arcane shot with steady shot.
If you want multiple GCD attacks in a macro, you must use castsequence which allows a different attack whenever you click the button (multiple-click macro).

I have carpal tunnel in my right hand from spamming my auto/steady macro 1000 times per second.
But now that you've got your macro working, I'm going to throw a wrench in all this, he he he. Been reading up, and there might be a better solution:
/cast !Auto shot
/cast Kill command
/cast Steady shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
Checkout elitist jerks:

You can still put your petattack and hunter's mark in if you want, but I agree with everyone else, keep those seperate IMHO.
What does changing the line order do?

These are the macros that I have been using but I am rethinking my ways
/castsequence reset=target/combat Arcane Shot, Scorpid Sting, Serpent Sting, Arcane Shot, Arcane Shot, Concussive Shot
------------------------------------------------------
/targetenemy
/stopmacro
/petattack
/cast Hunter's Mark
/startattack
the /cast seems to work fast for me but I havent tried any other macros.
