I was trying to give them an idea of the fire/magma-ness/thingy-ma-jig. I was basically sayint is was a lake of fire/magma.

The Bible tells us what Hell is like. God made Hell as a place to put the demons, Satan, etc. so God knows what it is like. He then told the people that wrote the Bible, and they in turn told us.
