Death Knights may not take much skill, but there are DK's that are better than other equally specced and geared DK's. There is some skill to them. As for class that's hardest to play? I'd say Shaman, Priest or Warlock. Non SV Hunter would get runner up.

I belive every class requires skill in order to pvp well, its just that some classes have it much easier than others.
Playing a hybrid class requires the most skill I think, to organize when to heal / dps or simply cc.
Other than that for me in wotlk I pvp a little since I only have a warrior and a warlock to pvp with, the later being better and can compete.

play a rogue =P u need to be super duper skilled to even compete
Shiving crip till your kidney shot CD is up does NOT take super duper skills. L2Play?
IMO, the HARDEST class to play in PvP, while still being powerful and viable, is feral druid. It takes serious skill and timing and one lame dodge or parry can easily mean you are dead. And believe me, dodge and parry happen way more often than they should.

Uh no. Rogues are not a top tier class, and they need MUCH more than that to be in the top tier. Examples include predictive Vanishes, reactive Vanishes, Gouging out of immunities, quick switch-kicks, excellent use of Distract, quickly sapping, and juking cone attacks.
Feral Druids aren't too hard to play. Rather linear, if not focused, just go Cat and smash them in. When focused, go bear and wait out their mana bar, in a nutshell.
Naturally, you'd be inclined to say that a Feral Druid is difficult to play, because that's your main class. Same way as I'm inclined to say Frost Mage.
@ OP: If you want difficult, either go Frost, roll a Resto Druid (you'll want to smash your keyboard, don't do it), roll a Warrior, or... basically anything that's not a Hunter, DK, or Paladin.
There is also a difference between challenging and strong. Frost Mages are very strong, they just need skill to play. Elemental shamans don't need to manage very many skills, and are very weak.
Just play the class you enjoy most. Never go FotM.
This is spoken like a true person that does not play a druid.
The energy cost of all feral attacks is very high. Getting the correct attacks out and making them land is very difficult.
The funny thing is, "Going bear and outlasting their mana bar" is just horribly bad advice, especially if going up against a priest. You can not kill things in bear form unless they have no means of healing at all. Going bear will only reduce damage, but won't stop it. You have to blow global cooldowns like crazy to keep up with warriors, rogues and shaman. When you are moving half speed or less, your MAIN burst, shred, is useless. Top this, PvP gear doesn't have expertise on it and feral is not designed to be able to actually stunlock a fully PvP geared player for more than half their HP. Maim breaks, and you get 2 attacks during bash if you are lucky.
What does this have to do with anything? Smart melee can handle feral druids if they have a healer. DK's are the easiest to handle, but if they are PvE geared, they do too much dps and force bear early and literally just shred thru you in the duration of a strangulate.
Seriously, I have descent gear, and adequate skills. It is REALLY hard to beat a priest team if they know how to play. Shaman are easier to burst down, but their oshi buttons are huge and seriously save them at 2% from death almost every time. I'm pretty sure 75-80% of our losses had at least one person at 2-5% hp twice. Meaning my burst isn't quite enough, and leaving the simple fact that Journey's end is the difference between me floating at 1700, and going to 1900+ just with the little bit of edge it gives(combined with a better enchant ofc).
