loled some at the guild name, Gwen stefani hehe. Anyways I also think i have not heard the entire story which lead you to get kicked but seems kinda rude to kick you with not explaining or give a warning first(perhaps you already got one are not mentioning). It is possible they kicked you with reason according to their guild rules bcs some guilds are as said really raid heavy and do not allow much outside the box of their thoughts and philosphy the leading core.
Anyways jsut move on and gather the friends you had, i have had many bad experience and i played longer than you even. played since wow vanilla beta ended on one of the first server dragonblight. I was in some guilds who treated me horrible, been a officer so i know the responsiblity and pressure you get from members if you raid with the guild and been hardcore and casual raider. So i seen all scenes except pvping and rp parts in the game. If you want to be happy find another guild and pick a guild with friendly atmosphere and the attitude you matter for them. Also treat your members as you want to be treated yourself. The final conclusion will be repeated a third time.
Find a new guild!

Blackhand isn't a very friendly server, you might consider transferring.

i got kicked from my previous guild for wanting to roll on a drop that never even dropped lol
This is why I don't even bother with guilds that have leaders/officers that are under 18.

lol, kicked for ASKING to roll on something...
Anyway back to the main topic, i dont really have any experience in getting kicked from raids because the last guild i was in in TBC (Saluti Mortem) was a decent guild, after having some awful experiences in other guilds (disbanding) that led to me just not bothering to play for a few weeks. However, in WotLK i kinda slacked with my shaman and decided to lvl a DK tank. Now im usually the raid leader in the pug raids i set up and tbh i never kicked anyone for being bad, and some people were awful. I dont see how it was fair to inv you to the raid and kick you.

Your guild was nub. How many people is this now telling you to move on. You have friends in the guild, that doesn't mean you can't still play with them. Find a guild with a GM similar to mine. He has final say in ALL cases of expulsion. He does the kicking, not officers, though he certainly takes officer input in making decisions.

I'd rather have a guy with lower dps thats fun to be around, then a guy who rocks the DPS charts but I cant stand. Think about that.
Thats not always the case im afraid. I know a guild master on my server who is an absolute w----. He even says he is an a--hole and likes being an a--hole as it gets the raid done. His opinion is that the raid do exactly what he says, how he says and when he says it. Otherwise he WILL instakick you out of the raid. And possibly the guild as well.
Basically, if he tells you to jump, you better ask him how high or face expulsion from his guild. People in his guild hate his guts. But they are still IN his guild. Why? Because his insane discipline and verbal brutality has made his guild near top the chart on the server guild list.
They are still in his guild because the guild members see the end game content and see it very quickly if they can deal with the horrible GM. He yells, screams and swears on vent, guild chat, raid chat and party chat and his abuse of the guild, causes the raid members to get in line, and get in line FAST.
The difference is, that those people in his guild treat the game as a job. The GM will kick you out of his guild if he even THINKS you wont do exactly as your told, and get it right first go. Nobody questions him because they already reap the rewards of having to deal with him.
I'm sorry, but this is seriously pathetic. I can understand why people are in guilds like this, but at the same time, I don't. Not just in Wow, but in real life, if people admit to being a jackoff and enjoy it, just leave. I've gotten into enough fights in real life with ****heads running their mouths and thinking they're cute. Games are supposed to be enjoyable. Rise above the abuse. Stand tall, as the BElf's say. There's plenty of equally progressed guilds out there. Leave this loser to try and find a pug. You don't need some low self esteem insect running your game experience and using you. And that's exactly what he's doing. He's using you. GM's like this don't give a flying crap about you and what gear you're after. They're in it for themselves.

If I may, I would just like to address, briefly, the issue of guild reputation on a server. Not rating, reputation.
You are right that it shouldn't matter what one person does that affects a guild rep. and nor should a guild really take it that seriously. HOWEVER (and I really mean big however), if a bad rep is built up on a server by a series of unacceptable acts, players in that guild, who wish to stay in that guild, will find it increasingly difficult to gain access to content that is not being run by their guild through PUGs.
An example on my server would be PWNZONE (guild) on Madoran (server). They have the worst ninja reputation on the server and as a result their members are shunned, not allowed to PUG, and are genuinely reviled. And I truly do not know how many incidents it took to give them this rep, but it is well known throughout the server and that guild is far from small. I assume they run all the content themselves because they can't do it anywhere else.
Anyway, sorry this wasn't "brief" as promised, but rep does matter because it affects others. If you don't care about other people's playing experience, fine. Don't be in a guild at all. If you have the smallest bit of heart, watch what you do when you do it because you may be hurting some else's $14.99/month experience.
