the conflag nerf hit 40/31 very hard. For an ulduar lock with full buffs, conflag was 9,000-10,000dpct, or assuming you used it as soon as possible every cooldown (you should be shot if you don't) roughly 900-1000dps. Anotherwords nerfing it 30% has dropped the dps of the spec by about 250-300. Thats a serious blow, its a 5% dps drop for the spec as a whole just by nerfing that one spell. In saying that though, as much as I hate blizzard for nerfing this spell, it was a very, very clean way of cutting down the dps of our "top" dps spec. It has equalized things a bit.
The builds are all very even, deep desto is a very viable build.

it was always a bit unnatural to be choosing a 31 point talent (conflag) over a 41 point talent (felguard). what happened is order has been somewhat restored and 0/41/30 is the dominant hybrid build now.
deep destro is suffering somewhat so 51 points there gives the lowest theoretical output and deep demo has obvious drawbacks with some reasonably utility to make up for it.

glyphs are relatively new to these calculators though i'm sure it will become the norm very quickly.
no to incinerate glyph. meta builds use SBs not incinerate.
haste is better than spirit for all warlock builds at all gear levels (though it's much closer for
very
high geared locks than it's ever been before).

very high gear = hit cap (17%)

There is nothing wrong with your build at all giannakis, mind you its almost point for point identical to the pact build in the OP.....
I have revised and updated the OP, to include glyphs etc. Everyone please look it over (my staff is a good one) and make any comments required.

To be honest I would call myself very well geared and I only run 310 :)

well, i assume you soft cap as needed. my point was that 12-14% is an odd figure to put with the phrase "very well geared".

very true :) 12% is my soft cap (im 4 stinking hit short, but meh).

Thank you for updating your builds with glyphs, although comments about viable (or competitive) alternative glyphs might be worthwhile.
However, while I and I am sure others appreciate the work you have put into the post, is there a purpose to it now that
Blightman's
'stickied' Spec thread has been updated? His posts additionally include glyphs, competitive glyphs, and spell rotations.
I assume his posts are still being maintained as there are comments regarding 3.1 specs and glyphs.

this thread was established to try and remove the constant "look at my new build" spam, and was always intended to be retired. It's proved popular however, and given the choice of keeping it up to date or leaving a sticky with my name splashed all over up and incorrect - I'll choose to keep it updated. When people no longer want or need it, they will report it and ask to have it removed.

If you check, both irharry and I have cross linked our guides. Less obvious is the cross pollination of ideas between them.

Jomihkie, any meta builds staple nuke should be shadowbolt. Using incinerate during MC is fine, but you should most certainly not be using it at any other time.
Your single target rotation is good. Open with dots, follow with SBs. AoE though you should be using SoC rather than RoF. RoF will be better than SoC for deep desto fire heavy builds, but for you it won't be. It also has the advantage of a larger radius, and it "tracks" the group - rather than a stationary debuff it sticks to the mobs and moves with them.
Hellfire was good in vanilla, but its now next to worthless sadly.
Having a healer on you or not has no bearing on the choice between Rof and SoC.

figure ill ask here. using aff right now and i noticed my feldogs buffs get over rided by arcane billiance and divine spirit. So besides shadow bite, he has no other real offense and i generally used him for his buffs. Perhapys now would it be better to use the succubus? cause i always thought she hit harder then him
Yes, if his bufs are being overwritten, switch to succy.
