Arms
Improved Intercept
and
Weapon Mastery
have once again swapped places in the talent tree.
New Talent: Juggernaut: Grants the warrior the ability to
Charge
while in combat.
Unrelenting Assault
: Now also increases the damage of
Overpower
and
Revenge
by 10/20%, and causes Overpower (when used to attack a casting target) to decrease the effectiveness of all the target’s non-physical damage and healing by 25/50% for 6 seconds. Tooltip and visual updated.
Fury
Titan’s Grip
: While you have a two-handed weapon equipped in one hand, your physical damage done is reduced by 10%.
Glyphs
Glyph of Barbaric Insults
: Increases threat on Mocking Blow by 100%.
Glyph of Last Stand
: Now reduces the cooldown of Last Stand by 60 seconds. The penalty on maximum health gained has been removed.
Glyph of Overpower
: Now provides 100% chance on all parries.
Glyph of Sweeping Strikes
: Now makes Sweeping Strikes cost 0 rage.
Glyph of Heroic Strike
- You gain 10 rage when you critically strike with your Heroic Strike ability. (Old - Increases the critical strike chance of Heroic Strike by 5%.)
---------------------
The
Titan's
change we already knew about, although this change on the patch notes is pretty much an official confirmation of the change.. looks like we're stuck with it. I'm rather dismayed at the switch on
Improved Intercept
and
Weapon Mastery
, as now Fury needs a full 26 expertise to hit the cap, and Arms only needs 14 as they already have +4 expertise from
Strength of Arms
. So, in the next PTR patch:
Fury needs 26 (214 rating) expertise
Arms needs 14 (115 rating) expertise
Also really good to see the
Glyph of Heroic Strike
back to normal.

this change was, well imo, PVP oriented, as to give arms warrior a way to counter disarm (as in 1 chain vs 2 weapon enchants before to 1 weapon enchant vs 1 weapon enchant and a chain now), and not intended to be another fury nerf, more like a arms pvp boost.
so either fury will soon receive a expertise talent like dk trees and arms/prot do, or it might be a way by blizzard to counter the increased stats the second two hand weapon gives us.
expertise being so frequent now, it barely will have any effect on top end fury dps, perhaps changing the way we are itemized a little bit without much more.
then again, might hurt the little guy a whole lot more, making it even harder for new fury warrior to get decent enough dps to get roster spot in good raiding guilds.
all in all, i must say i still like the change. from a pvp point of view, it's a very welcome addition vs rogue/mage combo!

Very nice. Should help out arms a ton in PvP, and is another step towards making battle stance viable for PvP. Notice that unlike
warbringer
, the arms version currently doesn't let you charge in any stance, nor does it break snares and roots. That might have been a bit too powerful in the arms tree.

Where did you see the revert back to the old Heroic Strike Glyph? I'm not seeing that change anywhere.

Arms brings:
- 4% more Melee Damage
- 30% increased Bleed effects
- 50% less healing
- 20% less armor (Shattering Throw)
- Demoralizing Shout
- Sunders (Fury can do this too but essentially pointless because of chunky rage)
Fury brings:
- Rampage, easily overrided by LotP
- Commanding Presence, BS overried by BoM and Commanding Shout is completely worthless
- DPS that can be beat by every smart player
- Demoralizing Shout if spec'd into*
* = Only good thing about Fury.
Fury is completely a waste to bring to a raid now. GG Blizz.
Fury has the healing debuff just like arms does. And calling commanding shout worthless is ridiculous - are you out of your mind.
It's true that rampage and battle shout can be provided by other classes, but so can trauma. So it's 4% melee damage and a limited duration armor debuff versus stronger versions of commanding shout and demoralizing shout.
