You're still gaining the extra healing done when using ret aura. This extra healing adds to the healing you gain from SoL/JoL.
Stoicism is pretty worthless, cause if you're fighting mobs that stun you you're going to be pretty dead.

With the new LFD system farming instances is a quite viable way to level up. But questing/grinding is still better.
If running instances is what you want to do then thats probably going to be best for you.
You always level faster when doing something you like.

I just went to read this thread since i came upon a discussion in our trade channel about protpaly AoE grinding. What surprised me was that the majority of players said that the extra swing proc from the BoA sword doesnt "stack" with Reckoning.
I leveled my pally not long ago and i was under the impression that it indeed does/did stack.
Do anyone know the answer to this? I couldnt find it in this thread. Oterwise i allways go to this thread as soon as i come upon any prot aoe grinding questions.
And since im allready posting i would like to thank both Svirve and Quest for the awesome information in this thread(and the Reckoning uptime thread).
Best Regards Zidjin

How much time do you estimate if I do this method from 50-58?
Roughly 45-60 minutes each level so at the most 8 hours.
Ofcourse depending on your experience/playstyle etc.

Ugh... I've found things to be a lot worse than that... Basically any of the dozens of mobs on the north side of the field (near the barn or any other structure on that side) evade constantly. I can have any number of mobs standing in my consecrate (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 you name it) on that side of the field and after a few seconds they'll all start evading and run back towards their starting location... At which point they run back towards me cause I'm still in aggro range, and after a few seconds run back, and forwards, and back, and forwards...
It would be a brilliant grinding spot but I can really only use the south side and middle of the field... Can't wait to hit 58 (currently 55) so I can just get to Outland and grind some non-buggy mobs.
Try killing mobs one at a time, and keep a close look out for when you get into combat.
If you go into combat without anything obviously agroing you, you've found your evader.
Either avoid the spot if it's stuck below the ground, or stand on top of it and kill it and continue pulling.
If you can't find it, try contacting a GM.

I'm glad this can still help people when it hasn't been updated in a very looong time.
I will be adding another location that i promised to check out maybe 6 months ago -.-
I will be updating the talent build as well.
Guess I didn't need to update the talent build, location added however!

You can get groups of 6+ yetis with some use of HoR.
Ehhh? How did you get HoR at 30 hehe?

Hand of Reckoning is usually HoR and Hammer of the Righteous is usually HotR.
Unless that was a joke?

44-48 I would suggest Tanaris Pirates, The Place is really awesome, Only a few guys shooting with guns but they dont do any dmg,
Map
I spent like 1 hour and 30 mins killing these and got +130k with Heirlooms(No rings).
The mobs dont do much damage and are easily gathered, Also drop somewhat much Mageweave cloth which sells for good(+10g/stack on my server).
Toon I used:
Boonestoorm
I'd give the spot Just because It is great for grinding, mobs die easily but the minuses are that there are sometimes a few players for the quests and sometimes rep grinders(had 1 lvl 80 there for some time, did a random and he was gone).

Thanks for the tip, i go there a lot when leveling just didn't think of adding it.
Added it under 43-48 since the mob levels range from 39-45.

I'm interested in seeing how things will change as far as viability now (such as cons having 20sec downtime, will kiting mobs be possible or will they leash back?)
EDIT: Hammer of the righteous looks to solve that, did not notice the change.
