Always wanted super speed: Wally West style, minus the spandex. But I guess I'd need super friction resistant clothing, so I wouldn't end up naked every single time I went for a trot around the globe. So, super speed and the ability to be the world's greatest inventor!
Mostly, though, I'd want to have Lohengrin's powers. From George R. R. Martin's Wild Cards series.
He can, with barely sparing a thought for it, create a full set of plate armor, of what he calls "Ghost Steel." Impervious to ANY damage. Oh, yeah, he also conjures a longsword, too. A sword that can, literally, cut through aything.
I'd go with that over super speed. Any day of the week.

Some of my favorite superpowers include super stretching (like Mr. Fantastic) electric powers (like Electro, but without the atrocious costume) and size control (like... somebody).
With stretch powers, you could grab things out of reach, scratch your back with ease, or punch a jerk in the face from 50 feet away!
No more outlets in your house? With electric powers you could power your TV by just holding the plug!
With size control, you could shrink yourself down to sneak in places, or grow to Godzilla size and re-enact your favorite monster movies!

My super power = whatever would earn me the most money with little to no responsibility to use my powers as a "hero". Super heroes have it hard, being responsible for the fate of so many lives, jees. i understand just about any power worth having will have some of that responsibility tied to it, and i wouldn't mind saving a life or two every once in a while.
An example would be walking through matter (walls). "Call the best locksmith in town! Oh, your baby is locked in the oven? Not anymore! *wisper* hello, child services?"
and size control (like... somebody).
APACHE CHIEF!

Either Electical, Fire, or Ice-based powers. And I'd be a villian, of course.

And another one... what I'm in a superhero mood this weekend.
Phasing powers; nothing like being able to walk through solid objects or people. I'd probably be in the neutral point, neither hero or villain, as I would use the powers to possibly rob places(phase through the walls of the safe and the electronics to short them out) but I'd also try to protect people if I saw something going down.... of course, I'm a firm believer in eye for eye, and phasing can kill people in so many interesting ways(reaching into a chest and grabbing hold of a heart, then unphase it out of the body for one....).

Many large weapons, such as Samus, or the Space Marines. And I think I'd be a bit of both, like Meta Knight from Kirby.

The ability to be able to learn (not already know) and be capable of using any other powers. The ability to travel to other realities. Limited capability to tap into the Akashic record. Control over nothingness. I'd be lawful neutral of course. Edit: Also to be a paradoxical existence. Might be amusing..
