To be honest, I originally rolled a pally for the bubble. However, I have found many reasons to love her and continue to play her. Solo elites......no problem. Solo group quest.... why not. Downtime... almost none. Pulled 6 mobs..... bring it on!

Here is my epic story of why I chose to be a Ret Paladin:
I started the game as a lonesome paladin with no where to go but kill wolves and kobolds in Northshire Abbey, as I leveled to 10 I realized a flashing light at the bottom of my screen and discovered the things they call "talents". At first I didn't know how to change the pages of the talent book, so I put the point in holy. As I moved on to level 20, putting all my points into holy because that's all I knew how to do in my noobness, I moved on to the sort of pretty and sort of ugly town of Lakeshire that constantly gets destroyed by horde. As I moved into the town of Lakeshire, I saw an immense battle like none other, horde VS alliance, trying to defend the poor and ugly worthless town of Lakeshire. The battle was fierce and there were shamans... Oh yes, and there were hunters. The horde were dominating. Until, a lone pally in full T2 came up with his epicness and looked down upon my noobness and said "Noob... Get the $%^& out of my way!". I followed his instructions carefully and watched him charge into battle yelling "Uber ret comes pwn u!" and running right into the middle of a group of shamans and hunters attacking with all his might. In about 5 seconds I started to hear tormented screams and flashes of light from the shamans filling up my screen and giving me uber lag, dumb shamans.. When the lag died down and the dust cleared I saw the roasted and arrow filled corpse of the pally, but his death is not the last of the uber ret, no! I realized that a glowing shield was surrounding me, protecting me. It was divine intervention, he had killed himself for the safety of the noob, for the better of mankind. This made me pick up my blade (or rusty fork) and become... The Ret Pally! I went back to holy once and it scarred me for life, the boredome... No... Don't think these thoughts Aladraz! Holy is too boring to be cool! And so... In conclusion, I became ret solely for the sheer epicness... And divine intervention.
