Wow, after reading all these posts about 5g tips people must think I'm a high roller with my 10g tips, 15g for enchants. You can recoup the money and more in five minutes by going to Venture Bay.

I feel that the act of clicking a button is nothing difficult in itself. I took enchanting for myself, I don't care about anyone else. People are kind enough to tip me, I accept that. If they do not, I don't treat them at any bit different, I say "Thank you, enjoy :)" usually after that, they throw me a bit of gold. And often, since I'm so courteous, they tip me 25-30g regularly.
The point is that people who say a tip is required are <Insert insult here>. The mere audacity that you're taking generosity and trying to make it a charge, just shows that you're greedy. I mean I get that it's the internet, but I still know when to not be a @#$%^&. If they tip, sure, that's awesome, if they do not, sure, that's awesome. Do I care about 5g less? No, I can do one hodir daily as i get rep up and make that gold again. If you think a tip is mandatory, then you really do not know how to make money in this game.

i think the standard tip (for a common craft) is about 10g ish my server and for some of the old pain in the rear rep grind ect enchants i tip as high as 100g because its such a pain to find someone to do them.
btw person who had the story about the hammer i have stolen it to make a macro whenever anyone asks me for gold (because i like confusing 8 year olds) and those who question a "tip" or as i'm now going to call them "knowledge fees".

Enchanter LFW charge tips per chant ur mats! psst!
Err.. no. Crafters are free to charge whatever they want for their services, but it is called a fee. Fees should be disclosed before transaction takes place. A tip is a small amount a customer might decide to add to reward good service.
Want to make particular amount per enchant or craft? No problem, make it a set fee. Advertising that you're doing work for free, hoping for x amount in tips and holding items hostage when people fail to live up to your expectations is not acceptable. Crafters decide how much to charge, their customers decide how much to tip.

Just be up-front about your expectations in /trade.
"LF JC to cut 14x , my mats + 20g fee"
or
"LFW , free with your mats for any non-grey, 5g fee for grey"
What's so hard about that?
Less time wasted all round.
