Well, luckily psychopathy and ASPD aren't synonymous. It can be hard to shake the feeling once one has been diagnosed though. There are objective tests for psychopathy or you could seek a second opinion if you're really worried.
Also, I am of the opinion that there are neurological differences which lead to extraversion and impulsivity, namely more
amygdala matter
. According to a teacher (no cite) joining the army or fire brigade is usually constructive for people with such traits.
Edit: Also, oglaf is down :(Heh, already joined the Army, and it's made everything worse.
Speaking of which, they gave me a counseling today that tells me they're kicking me out for misconduct, for something I was barely involved in. It's really depressing me.
I'm sorry to hear that Skree. If it isn't too personal, what happened?

Welcome ensso. This is more of a spam thread than an introduction thread. :)
I now hate someone. It's a strange sensation.
Don't dwell on that emotion too much. That's my advice, from first hand experience. It can consume you and affect everything you do.
There is probably a lesson you can learn from the actions of the person. So put their actions down to experience, because most things that people do are things that other people will do as well. Take the wisdom that you gain as a positive, use it to appease your anger and move on. And then, if it is within your power to do so, forget the person.
As for the wallpaper, are you still having trouble with it? If so, what's your screen resolution? I can compress + crop it for you if you like.

I had an interesting conversation in trade chat last night. Someone was blasting in trade chat how a level 20 green (which happened to be up for auction by me) could be worth 450 gold. I tried to explain about it being a transmog item, but they didn't seem to grasp the concept because they kept harping on the fact that it was a green and level 20. I then tried the live and let live approach "You don't have to buy it, that's what my time is worth to me but not everyone agrees so you can farm things yourself and not have to pay AH prices, etc." but he wanted to keep fighting, because apparently there are no upgrades available for his level 64 DK from dungeons, and that was somehow a result of my pricing on level 20 transmog items. So, I listed 3 places where a weapon upgrade would drop, and he wouldn't have to pay anything, and he asked "Oh, are you still talking?" The conversation culminated in him bragging how he got a handout from a guildie and didn't need my overpriced weapon (still level 20, mind you) anymore.

I know one of them on Facebook. Had a massive argument with him the other day. He ended up accusing me of steroid use because he had nothing, so I tore him to shreds. Ask Haxzor about it. :)

Well 450g for a level 20 green item
is
ridiculous, imo, transmog or not. But then if people are willing to pay that then I guess more fool them.

Depends on the economy of the server. If it's high-pop and has been in existence for a long time, the economy would be as inflated as hell.

It's actually low pop, and there's a scarcity of everything. Half of the time, if I sell ore or enchanting mats, or herbs, I'm the only person selling that particular item at all. I have seen green transmog items go for several hundred to a couple thousand, and have paid decent gold for a few transmog items myself. Generally I start high, and drop the price every week or so until it sells because there's no other way to gauge the price when there's nothing to compare it to. Either way, I can't understand why it would illicit such a rage in someone- if you don't think it's a realistic price, then don't buy it. Simple enough.

Instead of being clam and rational, you should have just made fun of him. People who whine about the game deserve to be ridiculed endlessly. Reminds me of a mage I had in a random group this past week. I was on my shammy, healing the run, and a cloth piece dropped that was better than what I was using. So, I needed it and started wearing it. The mage got butthurt because I can wear leather but I needed a cloth piece. Called me a ninja, so I called him a whiny little infant and said that if he didn't like it, he could leave the group. And on every loot roll after, I kept saying things like, "You better ask (name) if he needs it. Don't want him to go crying to his mommy if he loses."

Yeah, you should never be clam in those situations. You'll end up being eaten and stuff.

Actually, there are talents specifically designed to make it so that there's a percentage boost to your primary stat when you're wearing the appropriate type of armor (leather, cloth, etc.) in every slot, so even if it looked like an upgrade, it would ruin your set bonus and actually be worse than what you had in terms of your total stats. So...you were a ninja, you needed on something that would actually be a downgrade because of the stat bonus, and he deserved to be annoyed with you.
But in some instances, I do agree it's more appropriate to be rude. Like I would have been very rude to you in that instance, especially if you went on to make obnoxious comments after ninjaing a piece of gear, and clearly had no idea that you were actually gimping yourself in the process. Some people in this game- am I right?
@EDIT: And I am mad OZ beat me to a clam joke :P

I'm sorry to hear that Skree. If it isn't too personal, what happened?Let me give you the whole story, so you can have the full perspective on how much this suck...
Our story begins with me finishing the 68w Combat medic course at Alpha company, 232nd Medical Battalion, back in March. I had gotten all the way to the end, but I had sustained stress fractures in my legs from all the running we did, so I wasn't able to pass the PT (physical training) test, so I couldn't graduate. So they sent me to Hotel company, which it's where all the failures went. The idea was that I could pass a PT test there and move on. Well, while I was in there, I was talking to one of my buddies about my psychological "problem," and he insisted I go see someone about it. Well, I did, and the psychologist recommended me for separation on psychological grounds. I hadn't intended that, but it wasn't entirely unwelcome, as I really missed my family and a medical chapter isn't that bad.
Well, it ended up being a crappy six months. Hotel company, being made up of all the failures, was full of troublemakers, and the cadre there really didn't care about us. On top of that, my paperwork was delayed over and over, whether it be because my Physical expired, Brigade Legal changed buildings, we got a new Brigade Commander who rewrote chapter policy, or something else.
Well, as I mentioned, there were a lot of troublemakers at Hotel. There was one guy who had handcuffs and would cuff people all the time. There would often be mock-orgies, where half-a-dozen guys would dry-hump each other. It was ridiculous.
But eventually it was looking like I was gonna leave. I was actually clearing post when we got a new guy, and some of the other Hotel guys decided to "freak him out."
They ended up handcuffing him to a bed and dry humping him for a few seconds. I was there, and I didn't stop it, or report it.
Nothing really came of it until about two weeks later, when someone reported it and an investigation was launched. Someone ended up saying I was physically part of the event in a sworn statement.
Oh, and it turns out Hotel company never existed on paper, so the Brigade Commander disbanded the company and I was sent back to Alpha. Here I was given a Field Grade Article 15 with 45 days of extra duty for not reporting it, while the companies of the guys who actually did it didn't punish them at all.
I've been diligently doing my extra duty, but now they are pushing a misconduct discharge through on top of it.
Meanwhile, I'm not allowed to leave, so I haven't been able to see my family since January...

A little context: I was level 22. There is no leather spec for Shammies and you can't get the benefit of mail spec until you can actually use mail armor. I wasn't a ninja, just another player who happened to need the same cloth legs as someone who can only wear cloth. That doesn't make me a ninja. Also, it's still a game. There's no excuse for whining in a video game, ever. If you don't like it, you don't have to play it. If you didn't win your gear piece in a random run, run it again until you get it. If you don't like AH prices, don't buy !@#$ on the AH. It's the same concept.

I would tend to disagree it's the same concept, and one is me selling an item that is mine, and one is about the distribution of gear that is won as a team, with an understanding that it gets divided up among the players it's designed for. At low levels, I would say at best it's poor sportsmanship to roll need on other armor types against people who can only wear that armor, even if you're not technically gimping yourself the way it is at higher levels. However, your description of your own language and behavior after is what really sealed the deal for me on the whole incident, in terms of forming an impression about you. The mage had a right to be annoyed about your poor sportsmanship, even if you intend to engage in it regardless. To then be aggressively nasty because someone else has a legitimate point about your behavior is going from being self-serving with a disregard of fair play, to being an outright blemish on the gaming community. Luckily, I doubt we're likely to run into each other in game, so it's not really something I'm concerned about.

I hate websites not loading :(
I lose many snarky retorts that way, and by the time the website works again, the moment is gone.

Poor sportsmanship to roll need on something that's better than what I'm using? No. Granted, maybe I didn't have to keep ridiculing him, but whining is something I can't %^&*ing stand and it's part of the reason I stopped playing two years ago. He may have had the right to be annoyed, but I don't think he had the right to continue voicing his annoyance after mentioning it the very first time, which he did, which is why I started making fun of him. Beforehand, I tried to explain to him that it was better than what I was using and that I couldn't get the benefit of mail spec at my level, but he kept harping about it, so I sent it right back at him.
You're acting like my needing the cloth piece wasn't legitimate at all, when it was. Both of our needs were legitimate, I just happened to win, and he acted like a child because of it. He
was
in the wrong, and I made sure that he knew it.
Feel free to form whatever opinion you want about me from this very small encounter. I haven't formed one of you yet, but you seem nice enough. If you don't like me now, because of this, whatever. It's not something that'll keep me awake at night.

The specialty thing only kicks in at level 50; up to that point, it's legitimate for casters, be it shaman boomers or when monks show up, to use some cloth pieces, since the low level leather is crap a majority of the time.
And that really sucks Skree.
Also, afternoon all.
