If anyone here enjoy manga at all, I'd like to urge you to read some of this. It's very slow paced, but it illustrates the issues presented in it extremely, extremely well.
Heh, probably could have posted that in the Anime thread; we talk about a lot of manga there as well.
Have you read '
No Bra
'?

I got some people talking with their voices on vent, and I have to say Hat sounds different then the voice I had in my head for him.
Are there any people that you have meet/heard and their voice did not fit with what you had in mind?
And is it creepy if I say most people in off topic have their own voice in my head?
I still insist that Elhonna sounds EXACTLY like my Guildmaster from wow. It gets meta-odd when you take in consideration she's also my guildmaster on SWTOR.

Inaction is toxic to an individual's mental health.
Inaction is a weapon of mass destruction.

@Rank- Actually, Skithus is the GM on SWTOR- I'm an innocent bystander. Not that I've been playing as much as I should- got sucked back into WoW.
Also- I like the weapons in that mod, but I find the armor to be a little over the top. I will stick with
this
for feminine armor.

If there are significantly more guys than girls in this world why am i so lonely
Because you're sitting there posting on the internet about it. Get out there and meet some guys! You're a pretty girl, you shouldn't have any problem attracting some male attention.

@Tion- What happened to lip-ring guy?

Hey Elhonna, heard the news? Character transfers on SWTOR start next week. I do hope we can all stay on the same realm though :S it would suck if we can't be on the same new server.
Also X_x transfers start next week, and I still have to re-download SWTOR all over again.
WHY?

@Rank- I didn't check the news. Is it paid or free? Do they have limited server moves, or anywhere we want? I'd have to go with the guild, as much as is left, anyway.

step by step.
Is it paid or free?
Free for this initial stage which will last for several months, they want to combine the spread population into a few key servers. Once that consolidation is over (which will last for several months) then future transfers will require a fee.
Do they have limited server moves, or anywhere we want?
First the former, then the latter. If they allow transfers to anywhere we want, then they risk having 2 problems.
A: that most players move to already crowded servers (like Fatman) and make them overcrowded, thus going back to the same problem they had at launch.
or
B: That players just pick at random a server to move, and the population is still spread too thin.
So, for this initial stage, they will pick about 20ish servers, these will be known as "destination servers"
They will link these "Destination servers" to a select group of other servers. So, for as long as the consolidation lasts, you will only be able to move to the destination server linked to yours.
So, for example, one of the destination servers is "Wound in the Force". And that server is linked to 20 servers, ours (Veela) included. As long as this whole thing lasts, we (and the other 19 servers) can only move to Wound in the Force. If during this process Wound in the Force becomes full, we get assigned a new destination server.
So its important we transfer at the same time. If you guys transfer now, and say......... 8 others on the guild wait 9 days due to X reason, by the time the 8 dudes decide to transfer, maybe the destination was full, and they get sent to another new one.
All in all, what I'm saying is: Wait for me :P I gotta download SWTOR again because of a stupid error during the patch which corrupted the whole thing X_X

ok- then I'll discuss destination servers with the guys, and we'll all move to the same one. No use splitting up.

:P there is nothing to discuss regarding the destination since its gonna be pre-selected. What we do have to agree is the time we choose to move. Because if we move at different times, there is the risk of ending in different destinations.
They said that the only way for the destination servers to change is if they become too crowded.

AH- ok. Then we need to figure out real time stuff- I'll get into BF's vent tonight and see what they want to do. You can probably switch servers without downloading the game, right? We can try and get it taken care of tonight.

alrite I'll log on vent tonight so we can get the logistics of this nailed down.
Also, I dunno if its possible to transfer without logging on. They'll release a Q&A soon about the whole thing. Now that I think of it, server transfers in wow are done via the website, not in-game, so there's no reason to assume they're gonna be done in-game on SWTOR as well. If they are done via website, then all is good.
The whole thing starts on the 12th BTW.
