Have fun. Their story is (IMO) the best one on the republic (Followed closely by the Trooper).
Little tip: At 10 choose to be a Guardian instead of a Sentinel. Yes Sentinels can dual-wield while Guardians can't, but Guardians can be tanks or DPS, whereas sentinels are pure DPS. Guardians can use heavy armor, making it easier to solo those pesky elites, have more survival CDs, and when push comes to shove, you can re-spec into tanking and voila, you can get instant invites to dungeons and raids.
Plus lorewise Jedi are protectors of the Innocent, and the guardian does precisely that.
Edit:
Plus with a Jedi Knight, that one scene at lvl 10 I think when you craft your first very own Lightsaber is just EPIC! it WILL give you at least some goosebumps.
By contrast the other 3 force classes receive their lightsaber with much less fanfare.
Consulars: They craft it themselves like the Knight, but their cutscene not only is less awesome, it has crappier music.
Warriors: Your master gives you his old saber

Just so you regulars know. We are letting reports pile up a bit. We are still responding to everything reported as soon as we see its reported, but the credit for the reports will take some time to come back to you.
Cheers,
Hat
Why is that? Explain! lol :P
It looks like Spiffy broke the ability for mods to clear reports when he did some updates for the mods in general. I could definitely make him fix this ASAP and this weekend, but he's at a friend's wedding with his wife out of town and I don't really want to make him take time off from her =x
Awwww, you weren't suppose to let them know that something broke! Any bug we have is really a feature right?
But yeah, Reports are still being handled. ^_^

Because you were that tired.I certainly was. It's nearly 4 and I wish it wasn't raining - I'd get the camera out and find a good spot to see the sunrise.

Is the guardian's dps a lot lower? I was looking forward to doing great dps and duel wielding.

That's misconception.
Some people have ingrained in their heads that in the case of Knights/warriors and Smugglers/agents, the advanced classes that are pure DPS deal higher DPS than non-pure DPS.
Example:
For the knight, Sentinel is pure DPS, whereas Guardian can either be DPS or tank depending on your spec.
For Agent, Sniper is pure DPS, whereas Operative can either be DPS or healer depending on spec.
Some people seem to believe that Snipers put Operatives to shame in DPS, and Sentinels put guardians to shame in DPS.
Both cases are wrong.
Guardian can do as much DPS as sentinel, the only difference is that they (unfortunately) don't dual-wield. However they do wear plate armor (sentinels wear medium armor) have better survival CDs (For when soloing stuff) and when you want to, you can spec into the tank spec. Or remain DPS. The point is, you got a choice. For Sentinels there is no choice, you are pigeonholed into DPS and that's that. Forever and ever.
to put it on Wow's equivalent: Sentinel vs Guardian, would be like in wow Warlock vs Shaman. Both can do nice DPS, but the shaman can also heal, and wears heavier armor. (Of course, this example isn't perhaps the best, because locks, despite being clothies have a lot of nice survival CDs, whereas sentinels don't)
All I know is that I played both up to lvl 15, and as a sentinel I was squishy as hell, even the most mundane quests left me at 20% health left, because mobs tend to gib you. Guardians due to heir heavier armor and better survival CDs don't have that problem, and as far as their DPS goes, its quite good.
Which one does MORE DPS? Unknown, since there are no DPS meters in the game, but what IS know is that both do Good DPS and neither is worst than the other in a significant way.
If anything, sentinels look cooler because I can't deny it, the animations for Dual-wielding lightsabers are F*bleep*KING AWESOME!.
Edit: as you can see
here
Guardians have 3 talent trees. One is for tanking, the other 2 for DPS, and they have nothing to envy with their Sentinel counterparts (With the obvious exception that dual-wielding does looks more awesome)

If anything, regarding the Sentinel vs Guardian thingie (as well as any Advanced class vs Advanced class) this is a case of bad design.
Because when it comes to talent trees, you can re-spec any time you want, it will cost you, but you can do it, so you can feel free to experiment which tree seems to fit your style better.
But you can't change your advanced class. Once you pick sentinel, that's that, you can't go back, you're stuck in that role for better or worse. And that's not cool.
I created a Sith Inquisitor, at lvl 10 chose to be a sorcerer, and by lvl 14 I was tired of it, they're mages, all their attacks consist of casting magic, they not once use their lightsabers. I wanted to try assassin, so the only option was to re-roll instead of simply re-choose advanced classes again.
Given how different each advanced class can be from each other, I feel the option to go back should be there, just in case you don't quite like the one you picked up. Because imagine how frustrating it must be to level your toon up to say........ 30 only to find that the advanced class you chose is just not fun. Maybe effective at their job, but not fun for you. The only option is to make a new toon instead of re-picking advanced classes again.
=/ I'm hoping bioware later on adds an option to re-choose advanced specializations in the nearby future. They did said they plan to add Dual-specs later on this year, so lets see if this one is added too at some point.

yep.
Loved the first season, loving the second one as well.
Its a shame that the awesomeness of Sokka wont be around this time, but Bolin seems to be doing a fine job in taking his place.
And the new Avatar is absolutely
BADASS
No vegetarian nancy-pansy tinkle-toes pacifist-prankser hero this time. ohhh no. (Ok, I loved Aang, but come on, Korra is SO MUCH BETTER)
