BTW adamsm, I'm starting the Starcraft novels tonight, I was fortunate to find all 3 of the ones written by golden in the local bookstore =D (A bit used but readable) the others I obtained........ via alternative ways.
What order should I read them?

There's very little that escapes his lazy eye xD
@adamsm, you know bro' I didn't realized you were also a Starcraft fan :P Now I wont be surprised if you tell me you're also a Diablo fan too. (Gotta admit it though, its very hard to hate the awesome backstory blizzard creates for their games. Starcraft, Warcraft, and Diablo, all have one thing in common: ONE HELL OF A FANTASTIC EXPANDED UNIVERSE)

Aye I love them too. Even the new band. I like them both equally. :D There seems to be a lot of hate for the new band though :| I hope they don't cave in and get rid of them.
It's not like they'll get the old band back, they're already doing their own thing.

This whole weekend, I sat by the PC, naked, and wrote a novel. Felt like a bloody
writer-monk
of some sort.
The novel is set in present day Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. Main characters are a cop woman called Alena and a necromancer called Jakub. Alena is also the narrator, a.i. I am using first-person subjective narration. The plot revolves around Alena catching Jakub on a graveyard, and because of her curiosity, she is pulled into his quest for justice. There are heavy fantasy elements and throughout the story, Alena is being introduced to a secret society that is familiar with supernatural things. Think of the popular concept of how there is a secret magical world beneath our boring real world, similar to Harry Potter, Neverwhere or Kraken, that's what I was going for.
It was a lot of fun working on the novel too. I spent a while studying firearms and ammo types, had a lot of phone calls with my friend, who is a cop, got a contact to a creepy guy who works in the largest Bratislava mortuary and asked him a few questions about it and personally visitted a few major places that are in the novel, including one pretty badass mausoleum. Also it wouldn't be as good as it is without the help of my girl friends (written separately on purpose) who gave me quite a lot of info about period-related things... because I managed to make Alena's ongoing period into an actual plot device. So far the people who have read it gave me quite some praise, and what I especially like is how they say I managed to write a story that is narrated by a woman, and that they could not tell that it was not written by a woman.
Gotta send it to my editor now and publish it somewhere. Feels good guys.
(Before anyone asks, I only write in my native language. Sorry. >_> )

Thror- That book actually sounds quite interesting. My mother loves books and works in a library so I am around books 24/7. Hopefully it will become translated one day for me to read.

Book? Oh. It is nowhere that long. I might have used a wrong word there I suppose. It's about 20 pages.
