Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto are meant to be the best places to live there. Although the climate in Toronto is horrible. -40°C in winter to 40°C in summer.

Heh, Calgary is in Alberta, and the day I was born, it was -48C with the wind chill at 3:30pm. BC is the best as it's the most temperate, but the other provinces go up and down.

Yet one could argue they could be considered random.

I dont mind the cold, its the heat I have a problem with.
The state of Zulia is one of the hottest parts of america in general (due to being right at the equator of the earth and VERY low in comparison to the sea level, the hundreds of oil deposits beneath the state dont help to cool it off) with temperatures that often get to horrible degrees.
jeez, one of these days I'm gonna melt just by stepping outside. I actually have to run from the door of my building to my car to catch as little sun as possible. (Ugh, and the place where I work makes me wear a frikking jacket).
I cant take a walk of 3 blocks at 12 pm without reaching to my destination DRENCHED in sweat, and mildly hallucinating. By contrast, when I was in the state of Merida, with a much colder weather, it was AWESOME, I was able to jog 6 blocks at 10 am and was barely having a few drops of sweat in my forehead.
That is the kind of weather for me. There's a billion ways to combat the cold (from wearing thicker winter clothes, to do exercises constantly) but not many to combat the heat, other than wearing light clothes (which not always is posible, since many work-places require uniforms) and having air conditioners (which not everyone can afford)

But is it humid in the summer and dry in the winter?

Wouldn't know. That temperature range would surely play havoc on your body though.

meh, people in the sahara manage just fine, and that's a place with scorching heat during the day, and sub-zero temps on the night.

It can be, same as anywhere else in the Temperate zones.

Toronto winters sometimes feature short cold snaps where maximum temperatures remain below −10 °C (14 °F), often made to feel colder by wind chill. Snowstorms, sometimes mixed with ice and rain can disrupt work and travel schedules, accumulating snow can fall any time from November until mid-April. However, mild stretches with temperatures in the 5 to 12 °C (41 to 54 °F) range and infrequently higher also occur in most winters melting accumulated snow.
Summer in Toronto is characterized by long stretches of humid weather
. Usually in the range from 23 °C (73 °F) to 31 °C (88 °F), daytime temperatures occasionally surpass 35 °C (95 °F) accompanied by high humidity making it feel oppressive during these brief periods of hot weather. Spring and autumn are transitional seasons with generally mild or cool temperatures with alternating dry and wet periods.Maybe not quite as bad as I made it out to be. I'd say the -40 and +40 figures are more like statistical anomalies. Just like Australia sometimes gets random 50° days but generally doesn't get above 42-45 in summer.

Not for me. I just seriously dislike extremely humid/dry weather.

Unfortunately when I did that about a month ago, I forgot to save the original, so in this particular case, it'll have to stay there. But I can keep that in mind for future stuff.
