I meant Azazel but I'm glad you found out, I just checked the BB Code guide and it didn't mention anything in the guide-writing section.

I got a new phone book in the mail today. There was a large ad between Kitchen Equipment and Kites that says "Have you hugged your children today?" If a parent needs advice from a phone book to be an effective parent, perhaps they should flip over to "Adoption Services" and find better parents for their kids.
1) It's just an advert;
2) Who actually uses the phone book now?
1) It's not really advertising anything. That's all it says. The phone book is reminding parents to hug their kids. I could understand an ad for a kid's dentist or something. I mean, it is an ad, but not really.
2) I use the phone book to check and find something if the internet won't easily give me the number, which happens once every 6 months or so.

Bah, should find an emulator for PS games and play it during a break or something.
Man I would so love to play the first Digimon World again.
I had the most unbelievably epic Hercules Kabuterimon in my old ass save. That digimon was like a living miracle. I remember he stayed alive for an unbelievable amount of days, and I managed to max most of his stats. It was also the digimon I used to beat the end boss. I had him saved in that multiplayer battle thingy and he won me soooo many matches.
/high five
Colored my drawing lol.

Bioware is a company that for more than 15 years have been the KING MIDAS of RGPs, I own almost every game they've made (Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, neverwinter nights, Jade Empire, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, ect) and I'm getting worried that if TOR is successful (and there's no indicator that it wont) they will focus on THAT game exclusively and forget their other franchises entirely.
I hope they dont Y_YI doubt they will. Mass Effect and Dragon Age are insanely popular, and they must make a hell of a lot of money from them. The difference is that WoW is a continuation of the WarCraft universe, whereas ToR is a completely different franchise to DA or ME.
Starcraft and Diablo were also different franchises to warcraft, AND just as popular as warcraft was, yet they were put on ice for more than a decade after wow's debut.

BioWare has more than a single team, and they do not share developers. The ToR section of BioWare should not have an effect on the ME or the DA sections. I have heard that from a public relations guy from EA... not sure how correct he could be.
Diablo and Starcraft were also developed by different teams than Warcraft (heck, diablo was even developed by Blizzard North, on a whole different building other than the one in irvine) and that didn't prevented them from going comatose once Wow was released.
Wow just brought a hell of a lot more money than either Starcraft or Diablo ever would dream to bring, therefore blizz dedicated that money to the Warcraft team of devs, rather than the Starcraft team or Diablo team.
I'm concerned that Mass Effect or Dragon Age, or the other franchises of Bioware will be put on ice to funnel more money to the biggest cash cow.
@Adamsm, Diablo and Starcraft weren't put on ice due to blizzard's "dont release till its ready" policy, they were put on ice because they were focused on WoW, they didn't spent the last 10 years developing Diablo 3, just as they didn't spent the past 10 years developing starcraft 2. After 6 years of ignoring those 2 franchises they began working on them again, and the reason diablo 3 has been delayed is for their "release when perfect" policy, but the reason it was abandoned for 6 years was due to their "wow brings more money" policy.

Still better then what LucasArts did to KotORII.

agreed, but I dont want Bioware to follow on blizzard's footsteps and focus exclusively on TOR abandoning their other franchises in the process.
The glint of money is very very tempting and sweet, hard to resist, and compelling. I hope they care more about pleasing their fanbase than pleasing their pockets.
This coming from a blizzard fan who was used to getting a new blizzard game every 2 or 3 years to one that hasn't played any NEW blizzard product in almost 10 years, till Starcraft 2 was FINNALY released.
I'm a FAR BIGGER fan of Mass Effect and Dragon Age than I'd ever even been to KOTOR (and KOTOR was a great game) and I'd hate to see these 2 franchises put on ice to feed the bigger meaner cash cow.

Thing is Rank, Thorr said he heard that comment from a panel, that all of the flagship games are handled by different people/departments, so don't borrow trouble ahead of time.

I think that the other Bioware Franchises will be fine. I have high hopes for DA 3, based on the things they fixed in the DLC's (Felicia Day was so cute in that last DLC), and Mass Effect just needs to keep doing what it's been doing and they'll be fine. Not sure about future titles,though- I'm pretty sure that Mass Effect ends with the next installment, and I'm not sure how many DA games they plan, either. It may be that we don't see the same kind of quality in newer titles that we will in sequals to the big sellers.

again, so were starcraft and diablo (with diablo even being in a different building, different state, different team)
the mothership is still the same for all of them, and when the mothership closes down a project, its down.
Just as Starcraft and Diablo (despite being popular, and despite being developed by a COMPLETELY separate team) were put on ice, it IS posible for Bioware to do the same.
Its a very realistic chance for it to happen, which is why I'm concerned.
