Ok fathios i will just go read my book now... I left on in a ummm yeah scene last night. Books are so much fun.
I know, right? I'm desensitized, cause I'm a
Song of Ice and Fire
fan. Something perverted happens every 20 pages.

Hm. That's not too bad...
For 13/hour I'd do that too.
Why do Americans get paid so little?

Blame their government? As the minimum wage here in Ontario is 10.25 an hour; whether you work at a call center, a gas station, a fast food joint or a shop. Some places of course pay more heh.
Current province wide rates weird they don't have Nunavut though.

Holy !@#$....That's shockingly good.
It's still 8/hour here.
Maybe it's just based on prices of goods?

The UK minimum wage is pretty bad, imo.
£5.93 - the main rate for workers aged 21 and over
£4.92 - the 18-20 rate
£3.64 - the 16-17 rate for workers above school leaving age but under 18
£2.50 - the apprentice rate, for apprentices under 19 or 19 or over and in the first year of their apprenticeship
Jersey's is a little better at £6.32/hour, but the cost of living is comparably much higher.

I get paid more because I'm a manager. But that's just for a grunt, would get more per hour if they were casual too
