Torchwood? It's a more adult Doctor Who, without the Doctor.
Oh, I love Torchwood, bloody brilliant show! But unfortunately my GF hates the site of the lead char..
It's killing me that I can't get her into it, not even TSC she wants to see, even tho she loves Terminator...
What to do, what to do?

Stargate?

If you want another series in the vein of Torchwood, there's Primeval. It does try too hard to be serious at times, but overall I thought it's been pretty good.

Yeah... Stargate could actually do it for her... She does seem to like that Daniel bloke when she sees me watch it when it pops up on the tv :)
I should totally go and break some rules and torrent it =P (again)
Now, is there any you can recommend to me ?
I've seen:
Firefly
SG-1
SG:A
SG:U
Dr. Who
Torchwood
Farscape (I think it is? It's the one with the guy and chick from the last part of SG-1)
I have been considering picking up Star Trek, but then again... I don't want to lose everything to a tvshow again... I had a very bad Buffy/Angel period recently =)

Primeval isn't really a sci-fi for me tbh, I love the show. Watched it from the day it aired in the UK, but it seemed to be more a dinosaur thing for me, but I guess it falls under the category of sci-fi, and she might actually even like it :P

Farscape (I think it is? It's the one with the guy and chick from the last part of SG-1)You def have to watch; one of the best Sci-Fi shows out there.

The ones listed there are the ones I've already seen, but I do agree with you there Adams =)

Er misread that lol.
Edit: Eureka; not in space, but still sci-fi, and has a great cast.

Dark Angel
Babylon 5
Logan's Run
Sliders
X-Files
V (new or original)
Andromeda - Looking that up
BSG - Never really caught me
DA - Saw that ages ago, might do that again.
Babylon 5 - Still have the Collector's Edition DVD Released in DK
Logan's Run - Checking that out aswell
Sliders - Checking that to..
X-Files - Seen them to death and back again.
V - I love the new, the original never really caught me in the same way.
So, Andromeda, Logan's Run and Sliders, any quick recaps, so I know what might peak my interest?

Andromeda: Hercules the Legendary Journey's...IN SPACE! Well not really lol, but Kevin Sorbo does play Dylan Hunt a little like Herc. Excellent show though.
Logan's Run: Hard to explain that one heh; more you need to watch to believe.
Sliders: Four friends travel through the main character's wormhole invention, seeing multiple alternate Earths. People die over the course of the series and are replaced with new ones...and as I said above, once the season that ends with the original female lead being captured, stop watching it there: If you keep going, you will want to gouge out your own brain with a rusty spork.

Seems it will be Logan's Run I will be going with first then. Kevin Sorbo always pisses me off, I really don't like his acting.
Sliders seems like it's sort of Dr. Who thing, if I am not mistaken, except ofc that Dr. Who is the greatest thing ever! =)

Ugh. I loathe Farscape . . .
My favorite sci-fi shows (that I've seen) are:
Star Trek: TOS
Star Trek: Enterprise
Earth 2
Babylon 5
I've been meaning to go back and give Star Trek: TNG another try, but I haven't had time. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the Stargate movie, but none of the series ever did it for me. I dunno . . .
