So I went to see the midnight showing of INCEPTION last night. Amazing movie. I highly recommend it to everyone. It's one of those movies that plays games with your mind and that you go to see multiple times so that you catch every little thing.
On my way home I ended up flipping my car into the side of the mountain. Luckily God kept me safe and that's the most important thing; I was only shaken up and got a few bruises. The worst part is that the car is totaled, and insurance will shoot straight up. Right before I have to go to college. No idea where I'm going to get the money.

There are still a couple days left for the sale, so I'll go ahead and post this here.
Best Buy is having a buy one get one half-price sale for DS games. So if there's a DS game you want, buy another game (of equal or greater value) so you can get the game you want for half price, and then return the game you didn't want.

I don't have a DS, but it is times like that I wish I did. (Although I hear it isn't the best system. I rather like my GBA).

Did nearly the same thing a few years back. One of the top 3 scariest moments of my life; you see it happening, and you can do absolutely nothing about it.
Glad you made it through alright.

Damn, dude.. glad you're alright. How'd it happen?
There's this mountain that I have to drive over to get home. This was just after I finished watching the movie so it's about 2:45 in the morning. I'm not tired at all, I had just consumed large amounts of soda and popcorn. I'm making sure I'm doing the speed limit going up the mountain (45mph) because the cops sometimes will watch that road and I have no one to hide behind that early in the morning. I crest the top of the mountain and I'm coming down. I put it into a lower gear to slow down the car. I'm heading down and I see a light headed towards me. I turn off my brights.
(BTW, the mountain drops off to my right and there's a rock wall on my left.) I get closer to the oncoming vehicle and I see it's a motorcycle. If you've ever driven late at night you should know what I'm talking about when I say that it's hard to judge how far a motorcycle is from you in the dark like that.
I round the first curve headed down the mountain and all of a sudden some animal jumps up into my lane from off the right side of the mountain (my lane's shoulder). I have a gut instinct that makes me hit my brakes and jerk my car into the lane of oncoming traffic, so I missed the animal. Like I said though, there's a motorcycle coming towards me, and it's hard to judge the distance, so I jerk the wheel again to put the car back in my lane. I jerked the wheel too hard and I start heading towards the guard rail, so I try to correct my steering again. A combination of my speed, the wheel being jerked too hard, and the brakes caused me to lose control of the vehicle. It started getting crazy and all I know is I'm thinking, " . . . shit . . ."
The next thing I know I'm sitting in my seat and my whole body is sideways. My car had crossed the other lane, spun around once or twice, and ended up so it was resting on the passenger side. The motorcyclist stopped and helped me out of the car, the police came, and that was basically it.
Unfortunately the whole thing was completely my fault because I was an idiot and allowed my instincts to control me. I know that you're ALWAYS supposed to run over the animal and that you NEVER slam on your brakes. But, like I said, I panicked and allowed my gut instincts to take over.

Hah, yeah right.
:|
You know how it is for young teen males before the age of 23. The insurance company expects you to be stupid and when something does actually go wrong they're like, "Hah! Told you so!"
But thanks anyways.
