I agree.

Look at that picture of Mickey Rooney... now imagine THAT being the popular looking kind of masculine male that teenage girls swoon for. Is it any surprise that Justin Beiber also gets attention?

This teenager idiocy isn't new.
Well, some may see some of your views as idiotic. Also, I wouldn't say I was obsessed with anyone - I hate Justin Bieber, Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus and all those types of 'young, Disney-type stars' because they irritate the f**k out of me, and I happen to be a teenager myself, albeit a rather grumpy one. :P

I don't think he's saying all teenagers are like that, it's just those teenagers that are idiots.

I know, but the way it comes across is like a stereotype; which would be highly incorrect as many teenagers hate Beiber, it tends to be the less than 12 year olds from my experience.

Woo! Only two more days and I'm as good as finished with elementary school (nine years in sweden, dunno about other countries). We hardly do anything for the last two weeks.

And your daily schedule? Eight 'o clock till four 'o clock, not counting wednesdays?

As you were gone,
guessing you missed this

The way it comes across is not a stereotype. I said THIS teenager idiocy isn't new. I didn't say ALL teenagers are idiots. There was no sterotype in my comments, not even close. Quit reaching for something that isn't there.

I'm out for a nap, see ya'll later.
Have a nice rest.
So I was wondering, why is it that today's perception of "cool" is being drunk and acting apathetic about everything?

Because they can get the girl faster (or the guys will get attracted to them)?
I don't see how that works, but it does. /shrug

Because that's how people
want
to act. And the only way they can justify it is by supporting it in everyone else. It's kind of a reverse peer pressure.

Getting drunk can be fun, although fun can also be had without a drink. I do drink underage, because I enjoy it. I don't cause anybody any trouble (it's usually at a friend's house, quite chilled out atmosphere) and it distances me from the stresses that I face in my life, primarily education, which is always my utmost priority.
As for being apathetic, I think that's just a stereotypical macho-guy thing. Something about a cool composure making you a 'cooler' person or something. As I said, I do worry, and I do make my education my primary focus when I'm in school.
TL;DR - I'm only half-cool. D:
*Just my view on things, relating issues to how they are relevant to me and drawing my own experiences and opinions, because that's the best I can do. ;)
