There's this idiom/phrase in Hebrew:
הלבין את פני חברו ברבים
Which roughly translates to:
"Whitened the face of his friend in front of many"
Which means
"Mocked his friend in public" or something like that...
After hearing that idiom/phrase for like the 50th time in my life, my dirty mind kicked in and it was hard for me to suppress my laughter when I realized that.
Why didn't my lulzworthy comment get any replies?
