I would like to point out that going to college, for the most part, is a good intention and will likely better you. The cases where success is gained without a degree are the exception.

I still think most jobs you can pretty much learn how to do on the site with a basic school knowledge.
But, I've never been out in the work fields, so.. I'm assuming.. any comment, MyTie?

Depends on the job and you. Some people could walk into nasa at age 9 and explain how to get a man to the moon. Don't expect that you can, though. Go to college. However, saying that someone is not an idiot because they have a degree.... just... not the case at all.

@ Obama debate : He's as bad as Bush. Bush was as bad as Clinton. Obama's suceedor will be as bad as Obama... etc etc.
@ Abortion debate : It's presumtuous and narcassistic to think that you are a reliable judge of when it is ok to end human life. That goes for everyone from Ted Bundy to Ruth Bater Ginsburg.

Although while generally going to college is good and will help better you it isn't for everyone. I know personally that I am considering not going kinda. While I may end up their I feel like that it may not be the best choice for me and other people should have the ability to decide also.
Go
. While money isn't everything, it sure does help a lot.

Indeed. I am an anti-college success story. I'm also smarter than nearly everyone I encounter on a day to day basis. This isn't bragging. I wish I were very average. Just, don't use me as a role model for education.

Well, I don't really see it as.. alive and sentient of itself, so can it be considered really a living human being?
Edit: I guess the mother could just have the birth and give it to adoption as opposed to "killing" the fetus.

How can you be sure? If you were truthful, you would say that you weren't sure. So, if that is the case, how can you support abortion?

What you see it as and what it is don't always connect.
I bring up a good arguement and this is usually what I get in return.

Well, I think technically the girl who is pregnant (although the person who needs the abortion should have been more careful in the first place) should still have the right and the option to get an abortion if she wants.
And when I added that question mark it was kind of rhetorical, in a way, I just don't think it really be considered a human being, as it's still attached to the mother and not sentient of it's own being. I don't necessarily see it as killing, as I do removing a fetus.
Am I twisted for thinking so?

I'm supporting your position that you can't know what it's thinking.
I misread. I thought you were saying that my arguement is not always 'what it is'.

Haha, well MyTie, I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm taking your perspective and opinion into my thoughts. I just disagree with them, to you, you see it as a living being that thinks and is aware, I see it as the opposite. Can we truly no? No, we can't.
Edit: I guess I am disagreeing... lol..
Am I twisted for thinking so?
You're wrong for assuming a certain level of sentience.
I'm not sure
exactly
what you mean..
Do you mean I'm assuming I'm at a higher level of sentience as the fetus?
Or do you mean that I'm wrong for assuming whether or not a fetus is.. sentient?
Or do you mean I'm using the wrong words...? :D Not impossible, I use words thinking they have different meanings a lot.. >.<

1) Ok, this is where I bring up retarded people, who are probably not self aware, and who rely on others completely for thier care. Are they not humans? What makes a human a human?
2) You say 'I think'. Is there any doubt in your mind? Because humans are out of sight when in pregnancy, they are also out of mind. We don't see them, so we label them with crude medical terms, like 'fetus'. It is really really sad. In the end, a human being that would have been alive, healthy, playing on a playground, and someday have thier own family, loving thier own spouse, whom they grow old with, that person is instead DEAD, because at the time of thier death they were not 'sentient of themselves' (I think).
