Lorewise: When you think that the alliance is "good" and the horde "evil".
Can anyone give me a reason why Horde can't be considered "bad"? Forsaken, Bad. Orc's, Neutral. Tauren, Good. Troll, Neutral. Belf, bad. I just can't see horde being "good guys" in any way, shape or form. Perhaps due to the fact of horde quests massacring Hillsbrad and Bael Modan. Just seems a tad "evil" to charge into a town and hack everyone's limbs off for Digrat Stew recipies...
Though, for the thread,
When you insist that you DPS in Ghostwolf Form, and totems cost you reagents to drop.
Oh horde are bad i get it now,BUT did you think of this ?
Horde:
Orcs: have been almost all their existance slaves of the burning legion you forget that they were once a honorfull race on Daraenor before it blew
Tauren: have always been a noble race that was hunted down to nearley ten's of them but when the orcs came and helped them fight the centaurs the tauren were free at last and made Mulgore as their homeland then they aided Thrall in his quest for the oracle
Trolls: are the oldest cratures in wow history they were on azeroth before orcs and humans and have always fought with honor just look at all the great things they made all the instances many of us play Zul'Gurub Zul'Aman and many temples from Eastern Kingdomes to Kalimdor almost everywhere you watch there are some troll signs
Undead:the forsaken are the few undead who escaped the lich kings sorcery and managed to make a home led by lady Sylvanas Windrunner they are now against the fowl undead of the lich king
Blood Elfes:agree bad guys :D
Alliance:
Humans: humans are evil by nature they are the so called protectores of the light like Arthas who KILLED his own people to save them and then became the lich king and now wants to rule over everything
Night Elves: well if it wasn't for their imortality who made them so above everyone maybe the well of iternity didn't have to blow up and sink 80 % of kalimdor and transforming high elves into naga who now want revenge its their fault
Gnomes: are evil very eeeevil i can't remmember a gnome ever helping another gnome in the lore they are the smart guys of the races in azeroth and will ever be because they always stole the knoledge from others especialy Goblins
Dwarfs: are selfish tresure hunters who care only about themselves and never about anyone else altough the paladin is a original dwarf class
Dreanei: space aliens nothing bad there :D
so that makes Horde 4 good 1 bad
and Alliance 4 bad and 1 good
FOR THE HORDE !

FOR THE HORDE !
Uhh...What?
I'm all for the horde, ofc, but seriously. You need some more evidence before you call out the Alliance races like that.
Humans are not evil by nature, but they are the race I believe with the most capability to turn evil. Arthas cited as an example, Perenolde could be another. Both were just doing what they thought was right for their people, however.
Night Elves...I agree, they shouldnt have summoned the demons. However, you're forgetting only a small faction of them (The Highborne, aka the Queen and her servants) did so. The rest of the night elves actually fought and saved the world from being completely and utterly consumed; though at the price of blowing up most of it.
Gnomes being evil? They aren't evil in the least. They may steal goblin technology sometimes, but the goblins do the same thing. They're just fun to punt.
Dwarves...no. Dwarves aren't 'Selfish Treasure Hunters'. There are plenty of dwarves out there for example against this. The three brothers, Magni, Brann, and Muradin. I can't recall many more off the top of my head at the moment, but seriously, who put the idea in your head that dwarves are evil?
Draenei are pretty much the embodiment of good, really, considering the Naaru and all that. They do have about two thirds of their people as intelligent eredar warlocks, high class demons serving at the right hand of Sargeras and his cronies. Kil'Jaeden and Archimonde, as prime examples, and there are plenty more.
And on the Horde side;
The Orcs were once proud and honorable. Then Ner'zhul and Gul'Dan betrayed them, got them enslaved. After the Second War, the orcs went into lethargy, except for Thrall, whose parents were NOT enslaved, so he was not. Then Thrall, with help from the Frostwolves and Warsong, freed the orcs, and then they once again became proud and honorable and remain to this date.
The Tauren I agree with. Never seen an evil tauren, outside of the Grimtotem.
Trolls have their faults. The fact that all but the Horde type (Darkspear) and the Zandalar practice cannibalism is one. The temple in SoS was where some trolls summoned Hakkar; a very bad god. Zul'Gurub is another place where they did this, this time summoning him in his full power. Up in Zul'Aman, Zul'Jin is poised to destroy everyone in whats left of Quel'Thalas, and he's mad ^&*!ed at the Horde, so they have to go too. Not sure what's going on in Zul'Farrak. But up in Zul'Drak (Noticing a lot of Zuls here?) the trolls there are killing their gods to gain their power.
The Forsaken were former minions of the scourge. They managed to break free when the Lich Kings powers were sapped temporarily. Sylvanas lead a coup de grace against the dreadlords in control of the Plaguelands, bringing Silverpine forest, Tirisfal Glades, and the Undercity under her control. While I admit the Forsaken aren't exactly the most...honorable of the races in the Horde, considering some things they do, the majority of them are very much interested in the wiping out of the Scourge.
Finally, Blood Elves are not evil. Kael'thas and his blood elves; yes, those effers are crazy. The rest? Not so much. Blood Elves faced a prejudice from the Alliance from the start. The only reason they accepted an alliance with the Naga originally was because they would all die if they did not. Then they needed the nagas help to escape when Garithos wrongly imprisoned them. Their fount of magic; the Sunwell; was destroyed by Arthas while he razed Silvermoon, leaving them with a magic addiction quite similar to a crack addiction. Thus Kael'Thas left some people on azeroth to rebuild Quel'Thalas, and took the rest with him to outland where he would meet with Illidan, who promised to fill his addiction.
The Blood Elves back home stole away M'uru, but in the end they realized it was wrong, and now the Blood Knights (Belf Paladins) use holy energy granted to them by the Sunwell; now rejuvenated and cleansed by a part of the same being they once drained their energy from.
This would bring your standings to instead...
Horde: One bad, Four good.
Alliance: Four/Five Good, depending on your views of the Humans.
Though I'll admit.
Varian is a jagoff.
