I was a guild leader of a noob guild once.
Guild Chat:
Person 1: Can I have a run through a dungeon?
Person 2: Yeah, then run me.
Me: I just spent 5 hours running other people, I wanna go do tradeskilling for a bit.
Person 3: Hey I just logged on, can I get a dungeon run?
Person 2: Yeah me too please.
Me: In a bit, give me like an hour to do some other stuff first.
Person 3: When will you run?
Me: In a bit.
Person 4: Can I get a dungeon run?
Person 1: Hey , can I get a dungeon run?
Me: (caps) I'LL GIVE EVERYONE A DUNGEON RUN! JUST WAIT A BIT.
Me: Sorry for caps, you all are just getting me a little emotional.
Person 2: If your giving dungeon runs can I have one.
Whisper to me prom person 1: I asked first, so will you run me first?
Person 3: Since your tradeskilling can you make me some armor?
Person 4: There's no gold in the guild bank.
Person 5: Hi everyone! Wow, is someone giving dungoen runs? I rly need 2 lvl!
Me: The next person to beg for something gets kicked out of the guild.
Person 3: Can I have a dungeon run?
<Person 3 has been removed from the guild>
Person 2: Why did you remove him from the guild?
<Person 2 has been removed from the guild>
Me: Anyone else?
Person 4: The guild bank is empty, can I have some gold?
<Person 4 has been removed from the guild>
Me: Geez, some people never learn.
Person 3 whispers me: Why did you boot me?
20 seconds till you logout.
Me to myself: I'm quitting wow.

I've never been kicked from a guild.
I'm not 80 yet, wasn't 70 until a few days ago, and wasn't around for pre-BC.
I've never done PvE Raids at all, besides a PuG of Kara and ZA.

... It wasn't really a kick, but it kind of relates.
Logs on
Me: Hey, you spelled "Soulja" wrong.
Souldjaboy: *Nerd rage*
After he was done raging, an officer demoted me down to a rank they had that was unable to use guild chat....
Officer Whispers: "10 minutes without Guild chat for you to think about what you've done!"
Me: "...../gquit"

Only been kicked out of a guild once, for levelling too fast. Guess the guild leader wanted to be the first in his guild to 70.

Players are so shameless now a days (I noticed they mentioned gbank, so can't be too long ago). I'm going to sound like Cranky Kong saying this, but when I was levelling up people actually communicated normally, didn't beg too much and played together in harmony even if there was a huge level difference in the guild. Getting a boost from a level 60 was rarely brought up, while now it seems imporrible to do anything without a high level helping out, either telling them what to do, boosting or giving money or gear.
On topic, I have never been kicked from a guild, but I did leave a guild once because they wouldn't kick some retarded player. He was kicked a couple of weeks later, though. I can't stand retards in guild chat.

For some of the people we've kicked, without context, the reasons probably did seem pretty innocuous. In every case, however, it was just the straw that finally broke the camel's back.
And to the guy who loves to light up guild chat, that's okay to some extent. It's far healthier than a guild that never talks, in fact. But non-stop random babbling is extremely annoying for some of us. For those who can't comprehend why, about all I can give you is: "It's an introvert thing. You wouldn't understand."
